Hotel Epavlis — Hotel in Sintiki Municipality

[+] Secluded and quiet location outside the village of Kato Poroia at the foot of the Belles mountain. The rooms are in terraced houses in a very well maintained park (manicured lawns, paved driveways) overlooking the restaurant building. Room 14 is spacious and minimalist (or spartan, if you prefer). [-] On arrival my credit card had been charged in full already. This would have been in breach of the cancellation/no show clause (50%) of the booking. It appeared that the hotel was out of season at the end of April. With only a few rooms occupied, the place was beyond quiet - it lacked life. The receptionist - who turned out to be the only hotel staff on duty - was nowhere to be seen on arrival, so we had to search the premises for someone to check us in. The restaurant was not working, so the only way to get food was to walk down to the village or drive to nearby Ano Poroia. The Wi-Fi did not work in the rooms; the receptionist could not fix...

Excellent hotel. Big rooms including jacuzzi and sauna. Family friendly, perfect view and very good price. I would suggest it to everyone.It The breakfast was very nice and everything was very carefully selected including the decoration of the rooms and the surrounding area, Threre is a little farm with lamas,a dear and other animals. A playground and a swimming pool which was not available when we visited. I believe it would be nice as well in the summer as in spring. There are lots of things to do in the vicinity of the hotel not more than 5 minutes drive. Horse riding, nice...

Excellent, value for money hotel for families, couples and all kinds of travelers. Very clean, large rooms with fireplace (fire woods on extra charge) and sauna (extra charge). I had rent an apartment with two separate rooms (estimation 40 m2 in total) on the same level, for a 4members family. Sleep quality could improve by instating shutters on the windows with no shutters at all. Service was very good, in general. Well maintained garden with amazing view and joyful playground.
