I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming seaside hotel with a group of friends, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, Aspa, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, checking in to make sure we were comfortable and was always there with a smile. It's rare to find such genuine hospitality.
We stayed in the Polymnia room, which was spotless, and offered stunning views of the sea.
The garden, with its vibrant Bougainvillea, was a lovely place to relax. It added to the hotel's overall charm and provided a peaceful retreat whenever we wanted to just sit back and enjoy the surroundings.
And of course, we can't forget Boubou, Aspa’s little dog. Boubou added an extra touch of warmth and homey comfort to our stay, making us feel like we were part of the family.
Overall, this hotel was an ideal choice for our trip. Aspa’s incredible hospitality, the stunning location, and the cozy, comfortable rooms made for a truly memorable experience. We’ll definitely be...
Read moreMy Wife and I have just spent a week at the Alkifron (early June 2016) and endorse all the favourable reviews of this very pleasant place to stay. It is located within 10 minutes walk of the Kala Nera seafront facilities down an easily walked gradient. Room sizes are good with excellent en suite facilities plus fridge and cooker in our room. We had a first floor distant sea view room with balcony which is well worth having although the garden rooms do not disappoint either. As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfasts are something special and we had a different selection every day all of which were excellent. Full marks to Aspa's Mother for the daily delicacies.||||Aspa and her Mother who run the hotel are lovely people who make you really welcome. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the Allfrikon for a stay in this very pleasant and laid...
Read moreThis is a newish hotel built in the local (Pelion) style of architecture. My ground floor room was large and well equipped with A/C, room safe, kettle and full size fridge. The shower room and wc area was above average for a Greek hotel of this star rating. The room was kept spotlessly clean and I was impressed by the standard and quantity of the varied breakfasts, which were served to the table outside my room. Aspa and her family were caring hosts, for example when I was going on a long excursion leaving early in the morning a snack was brought to my room the night before as I would be missing breakfast. This hotel is in a quiet location, near a delightful bakery, handily placed for local transport and between 5 and 10 minutes walk to the tavernas and beachfront at Kala Nera. I'd have no hesitation in...
