La Villa Luxury Apartments — Hotel in South Pilio Municipality

Third Time’s a Charm… Again! This was our third visit to this slice of paradise – but this time, instead of coming with family, we came with friends. The verdict? It’s still the perfect vacation, no matter who you bring. Family, friends, toddlers, in-laws… any combo works.

Aside from the obviously stunning location, the dreamy weather, and the ridiculously perfect sunsets – what really keeps us coming back is the service. Just like the first two times, it was absolutely flawless.

Before we even arrived, Sofia made sure to check if we had any special needs, especially since we were traveling with three babies (yes, three – we’re brave like that).

Once we got there, Elizabeth took care of literally everything and then some. Every morning she surprised us with a new treat – fresh fruit and veggie baskets, or warm pastries straight from the bakery. We’re not sure if she’s part of the hospitality team or a fairy godmother in disguise.

Honestly, I’m a little worried this place has ruined all other vacations for me. Why try anywhere else when you’ve already found the one?

Just like previous visits, the lovely Alfonso came by at the end to say hello (and goodbye), making sure everything was perfect – and yes, he brought a little gift too.

The Villa has some of the most amazing views you will find of the Pelion coast. Combined with the fact it’s 3 minutes walk to a waterfront taverna serving fresh fish, and a 10 minute stroll to the quaint seaside village of Horto, this is probably one of the best apartments you’ll find in this region.

The 4 apartments that make up this apart hotel are all brand new. It is therefore modern and stylish, with high spec shower rooms, kitchen and living space. With daily maid service and personalised support of hostess Angelliki and owner Alfonso, it feels like a boutique hotel.

We spent 2 fabulous weeks here with our 8 and 9 year old. The children’s room had two single beds and good sized wardrobe. As the parents we had the the room with the view and what a view it is. The pool was fantastic; a perfect size for doing lengths and just standing round in! The sunset was also incredible.

The whole hotel is just brilliant!

Personally I don’t think the hotel is right for children under 7 or 8 as the drop over the railings is quite high so as a parent I would struggle to relax and really enjoy myself knowing they might climb on...

We had a fantastic stay at La Villa in June. Inside and out, the house has everything you could wish for in a fun summer holiday. The view is simply beautiful, as is the whole Pelion area, from delightful mountain villages where you may dine in the square under plane trees to lovely beaches. Not a high rise in sight!
