Hotel Metoxi — Hotel in Tempi Municipality

I must say this Hotel was a big surprise. || Located below mount Kissavos just at the entrance of this village called Spelia which means Cave don’t ask me more about that name I have no idea where comes from .|| The welcome was most friendly and the rooms were basic but comfortable and airy, our veranda had views across the countryside below. At night it feel’s you are insight a cloud and the wind so strong I thought the roof was going to go any minute but this was part of the charm this Hotel has. At the village there are some great restaurants offering local barbecued lamp ||||Great memories...

Fairytale, peaceful, restful, pleasant, harmonious...those are some words that describe Hotel Metoxi, Spilia, Greece. The talent for art junior owner Giainnis shows not only in his painting but also in decorating rooms and serving meals. Purity inside and outside also, decorated with nice plants. The food is fantastic, so fresh, so tasty. Above all are amazing views, spring water, birds chirping and mild wind which brings the smell of pure mountain air with smell of flowers. A great hotel, a great room and what a nice family that runs the hotel! Yannis will do anything to make you feel at home. The little village has a cool climate in the Greek hot summer. You don't need airco. Mount Ossa with great hiking is near. But also a few great taverna's and also in the hotel you can eat if you ask in advance. The breakfast was beyond our highest expectations! We loved it.. and stayed...
