Pantelidis Rooms — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

First of all this is the most cleaner place I ever rent. It comes with a big yard with plenty of parking places, the host is lovely, in the yard you will find olive trees and shade for the car, a barbeque place, a big common fridge and a mini fridge in the room. The rooms are little, but offers all you need. A minus will be that the room came with a single plug in socket for electricity, so you will need a power plug extender to charge your stuff. Other minuses are: the distance (2,4 km) between this place and the nearby beach, the shower doesn't come with a cabin, only with a bath, but the balcony is huge. A very beautiful beach is near by (2,4 km). It fits my taste. Here you will find: sand, rocks, stones, beach bars with sunbeds and sun umbrellas (diversity regarding price: from free + consumption from the bar minimum 5 € to 120 € minimum consumption from the bar) or you have the option to stay in the free places on the beach, which are plenty. If you are lucky and you want, you can sit in the front of any beach bar between the beach bar sunbeds and the sea. But you can do this only if you find free space. Also, here you can find places with waves and places without waves, the water is very warm, at least in July, and there are some stones from which you can exercise your jumps in the sea. The food is great around this beach and the prices are not too big, taking in consideration that you are on an island in Greece. Nearby you can find a lot of markets, like Carrefour and lidl, and plenty of local markets. If you want fruits and vegetables, I recommend buying them from the local ambulant vendors, they have good stuff and are not too expensive. We tried a lot of restaurants, but the best is one (xalk cafe) which is two kilometers away from the beach, usually when I eat at a restaurant I want the food to meet the expectations but rarely this happens. At this restaurant the food always exceeded the expectations. They have the best coffee I have ever tried, the best omelette I ever tried, the best gyros I ever tried and the best croissant I ever tried, etc. The quantity was always over the expectations and the taste, oh my good the best taste I ever tried. I want to mention this place, because they deliver the food also to the Golden Beach, so if you want to have breakfast, lunch or dinner with a food that will exceed your expectations, right on the beach you can order...

The owner looked friendly the view is nice, but unfortunately the rooms are very small with only one electrical plug in the room. The bigger problem was they are also incredibly noisy! The walls are so thin that one can hear how the people next door open and close their cabinets. The road outside is super busy and noisy. Motorcycles are going up and down until 1-2 am. We spent 2 nights there, I couldn’t sleep...

Beautiful, clean and very nice smelling rooms! Skala Potamias and the beach are a 4-5 minute drive away and you got a convenient store and restaurant that you can reach by foot quite close.
