Kokkimelon — Hotel in Topeiros Municipality

Eleni has amazingly renovated and tastefully decorated this old farm house. The guest house is a building with 6 rooms. The rooms are cozy, nicely decorated with private bathroom. There is a large common area with fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table and sofas. When we arrived, Eleni brought us a tray with warm freshly made melomakarona (greek traditional dessert, some kind of small honey cakes). The breakfast was amazing: home made jams, local bread, hot doughnuts with honey (loukoumades), homemade spinach pie and cheese pie, and homemade cereal bars. Kokkymelon is close to Xanthi (only 12 km from Xanthi) and conveniently located for hiking to Nestos straits and other places of astonishing...

I was in two minds wheather to write a review s don’t want to get eveyone going!!! Fabulous host.. the most comfortable nights sleep and a great shower. What more could I want you think? ||||We’ll we where here as part of a birdwatching break and so we also got packed lunches and they were not only perfect with a great mixed salad, sandwich and mixed fruit salad but a packet of biscuits for us and chocolate and all this single plastic free!!!||||A total winner and the best...

This place has offerings to the soul and the stomach. Delicious breakfast with different home made jams, bread that tastes good, a fried pastry with cheese (gözleme) and humble coffee. The views, the air, the water, the green surroundings of nature at its best, the long shower, energy of this place and Eleni who has created her own space and lets others in… it is perfect for a soul that needs resting...
