Diakoumis Studios — Hotel in Zagora - Mouresi Municipality

Diakounis Studios could be a fantastic place if the owners spent a bit of money to update it. But as it now it's unfortunately very basic, dated and run down. The good points are the amazing view and the beautiful stone floor but sorry to say, nothing more..||We were 3 people and booked the one of the 2 bedroom apt. which we payed 80 € per night for in june. The bathroom is located in the bedroom with the double bed and you get disturbed every time someone needs the toilet. |The mattress for the double bed was ok but the ones for the 2 single must have been very, very old. When we asked to change the worse one, one of the owners told us she coulden't be bothered. But the other owner|(her husband) were kind enough to bring a new mattress, changed some bed frame slats which were broken, added some extra and olied the old squeaking hinges because they made a very loud sound with every movement. ||We rent out our own traditional house in |Ermioni through Airbnb with a rating of 5/5 ourselves, and we know how important it is with comfortable matresses, well equipped kitchen and bathroom, good towels and for all areas to be very clean. It's surprising that someone having such a beautiful place won't do the extra work/effort to fix it up, spend a bit of money to fix it up..|I will give this place a 2 out of 5 and that's because one of two owners were very helpful, or else we would rate...

My studio (the one for 3) was a little cottage with a spacious main bedroom, a spacious kitchen with oven and electric stove, & another smaller bedroom with a low ceiling under the eaves; and of course there is the balcony opening from the main bedroom - right over the sea, an unbeatable view. The studios are built so they are very private, since this was a writing holiday I needed privacey & quiet and it was lovely to have them. I walked every day about 800 ms down to Mylopotamos beach and tavernas & back, and enjoyed it very much. The studio was spotlessly clean. They gave me a very good price since I stayed for a month. A word of caution, though - the bathroom is one floor below, you have to walk down/up a steep flight of stone stairs from/to the bedroom, so perhaps not best for people who get up a lot at night to go to the bathroom... It may be that the double studios do not have this feature, worth inquiring. The doors are low, watch your heads. And the mattresses could be bettered, they're on the hard side.
