Elithea Villa — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

Such a wonderful place to stay in Zakynthos! Nikos and Katerina were so kind, making sure everything was special for us, from a superb welcome basket and hello drink, to arranging a boat to tour turtle island, to house clean mid way through our stay, and finally giving our children a little goodbye gift - they really felt like distant family. We’ve travelled to many locations over the years, and I’ve never found a villa so well equipped - beach towels, music speaker, charcoal, coffee capsules, dishwasher tablets - it had it all and no need to do a frantic shop because something was missing or short changed. The pool area and view is to die for, it’s so peaceful, and the air is so clean (countless birds, butterflies and even the odd bat), you can chill and recharge. Being high on the island, it has a lovely breeze that keeps the heat off (the rooms have air-con too) and the bugs way, so you really can enjoy the tranquility. Inside the space is also great for family meals and evening stories. You will need to drive to get around, but we didn’t find it onerous, and there are ample beaches and restaurants all within 20 mins, we loved it. I’d go back in a heartbeat, and am already plotting next year.

We stayed at this villa as a group of four last summer and it was truly one of the best accommodations we’ve ever experienced. The house had everything we needed – from a fully equipped kitchen to a selection of pillows to choose from, which was a nice touch!

Everything was spotlessly clean, including the pool and the outdoor area, which we really appreciated.

We were warmly welcomed and personally greeted (and farewelled) by Nikos and his lovely mother – such wonderful hosts! They were incredibly kind, helpful, and full of great tips for our stay on the island.

Special guests were the lovely cats who live around the house and waited for us on the terrace to welcome us every morning.

The location is perfect for exploring Zakynthos by car – easy to reach all the highlights but still peaceful and relaxing.

We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this villa to anyone...

The location exceeded our expectations, and Nikos together with Mrs. Katharina were extremely assertive. They helped and advised us for everithing we needed,  we were overwhelmed by the warm welcome and all the beauty of the place. The house is equipped with absolutely everything you need, also generous yard equipped with barbecue. In fact, there is nothing more you could wish for from an accommodation, there is peace and quiet, beautifull pool and view, taverns 5- 10 minutes away, places where you can order delicious food.  We really didn't need anything extra. And the surroundings,  attractions of the island are absolutely amazing.
