From the moment we arrived at Silversands Beach House, we knew we had found paradise. As a certified beach lover:), I fell head over heels. This hidden gem is hands-down situated on the BEST beach on the island. Having worked with and traveled to some of the world’s most luxurious hotels on sought-after islands, including those in Anguilla, Little Dix Bay -BVI, Grace Bay Club / Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos, and One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives to name a few, I can confidently say this tiny corner of the world is in the same league. What really captivated me was the beach’s pristine, unspoiled nature. Its unique blend of white, black, and golden sands, complemented by stunning turquoise waters and mesmerizing shades of blue, was truly breathtaking. Spanning about 1.5 to 2 football fields, this intimate yet expansive beach is perfect for water sport activities like swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, and snorkeling, or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll from one end of the cliff to the other. It felt like we had the entire ocean to ourselves. After experiencing beach bliss, the pool was the perfect retreat for a refreshing dip. With the property’s remote feel, it felt like we were worlds away from the Caribbean. Of all the beaches we explored on the island, this one was by far the prize. New to the island, this luxury boutique hotel is gorgeously manicured, offering a sexy island vibe. This exclusive find has the coolest architecturally brilliant design, with accommodations that truly deserve the label "luxury pavilions." Accessible by golf cart, each unit is a freestanding masterpiece, featuring a blend of minimalist, earthy elements inside. But the real showstopper is the wrap-around terrace, offering panoramic ocean views from every angle. The vistas are simply out of this world, leaving you speechless. My favorite ones are the Oceanview rooms set on a cliff as the vantage point is epic and are ideally situated for picture-perfect views. We were treated like royalty from start to finish. From Clarista, the Assistant Hotel Manager, to Reonna, our breakfast waitress, their service impressed us. The beach attendants, especially Keon, made us feel right at home, attending to our every need. Michael, the Director of Housekeeping, was equally attentive, anticipating our desires with remarkable kindness. The service was, quite simply, outstanding. Our days began blissfully with a complimentary à la carte breakfast and the spectacular ocean as our backdrop. The freshly baked pastries, especially the croissants, were to die for, and we customized our breakfast to our hearts' content with options like pancakes and crepes. Despite my severe seafood allergies, the restaurant consistently catered to my needs with great diligence throughout our stay. We enjoyed lunch on our beach loungers, savoring their delicious oven-baked focaccias and pizzas. For dinner, we alternated between the two hotels, three Silversands hotel restaurants, and every meal was a delight. The night we dined at Azurro, we were treated to live entertainment while enjoying our steaks—an unforgettable experience. The Asian restaurant at Silversands Grenada was another highlight, with Beyota and Rianna providing exceptional service. As an added luxury, Silversands Beach House (the newest addition) and Silversands Grenada provide complimentary transportation between the two. Both properties share amenities and dining options, allowing you to experience their remarkable features. Complimentary luxury car transfers are available until 9 p.m. As an added luxury, Silversands Beach House (the newest addition) and Silversands Grenada share amenities and dining options, allowing you to experience their remarkable features. Part of me wants to keep it a secret, yet I also feel compelled to share it with the world. This little piece of paradise truly deserves the recognition.

First, if you’re not renting a car, use the Haylup App. It’s just like Uber/Lyft for Grenada and will be cheaper than the taxis that the front desk call for you. It’s amazing! Pros: BEAUTIFUL hotel and rooms, amazing ambiance, friendly staff, nice little beach Cons: some bad food, limited wine/beer list and mixed drinks were not good most of the time, tiny pool, shuttle to other property very limited More details: We stayed as a couple over NYE for 5 nights for our 15th anniversary. The website was really confusing to us and apparently, we booked the wrong room type - we thought we were booking a room with the panoramic, wrap around sliding glass doors but apparently these rooms are the regular ocean view and the panoramic ocean view room was the shotgun style facing the other side of the island. Anyway, the manager Clarista was amazing in shuffling things around to get us into the room we wanted. That woman is a GEM and is making that place shine. She even tried to upgrade us to a beach front room but we wanted more privacy so we opted for the room we booked (we must have the Pineapple suite! Haha, anyway…). Everyone was friendly, loved the vibe. And just a beautiful hotel. Food was pretty good but the NYE dinner was really, really bad. Of course it was too expensive but just the quality of the food, even for a regular dinner, was atrocious. We were also disappointed with the very limited wine and beer selection, and the mixed drinks were usually not very good either. FYI we went next door to the Italian restaurant at Laluna and it was terrible – would not bother. We did really enjoy our dinner at Brisa Mar though – recommend that place and it’s not too far. We went over to the Grand Anse hotel for one day and were disappointed – the beach there was TINY, the vibe was not relaxing (more young/South Beach, loud techno/dance music, etc.). Although the pool at that location is huge and awesome. Probably would have liked it more if we were younger and cooler :) Also, note that the shuttle between properties is very infrequent, and the rates charged by taxis picking up at the hotel are very high. It became obvious rather quickly that the drivers/hotel were adding a surcharge for rides (even when paying with cash). We eventually booked rides with the Haylup app which was cheaper. Also, the lack of a true concierge at the Beach House was inconvenient. The front desk was able to arrange a rental car for us for the last 2 days but their lunch recommendation was terrible - we suspect it was a friend’s restaurant. And the sailing charter suggestion was also suspect, and we went with another company. Again, not consistent with a true 5 star resort. Overall, it was a beautiful stay, and we enjoyed our trip, but we will probably not return because the downsides (inconsistent food and drinks, small pool, very limited beer and wine selection, no concierge, expense getting off resort) outweigh the positives to make it worth the price.

This is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway in Grenada! I stayed at Silversands Beach House for four nights on a solo trip and it was the best experience I've ever had. The team at Beach House is amazing and very accommodating. I really appreciate that they went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and safe knowing I was traveling alone. They provided me with amazing recommendations to ensure I enjoyed my time on the island. Beach House is located only a few minutes from the airport and between 10-20 minutes from many of the tourist locations, restaurants and town. I opted for an Island View Room, and it was stunning; but ended up upgrading to an ocean view room and it was even better. Facilities were thoroughly cleaned, it felt like I was the first person in the room. There is an amazing infinity pool at the resort and its steps away from the ocean. There are also complimentary kayaks and paddle boards for guest to use on a first come, first serve basis. The restaurant on the property serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Breakfast is complimentary with your stay, and it's amazing. Food and drinks in general are great - a little pricey, but it's a 5-star hotel so splurge a little! There is a courtesy shuttle that runs several times throughout the day to their sister property; Silversand Grand Anse. I spent a day at the sister property and the team there was equally welcoming and accommodating. If you are a solo traveler and looking to experience luxury at its finest and a very relaxed resort - Silversands Beach House is the place for you. Thank you to the Silversands team who made my stay one for the books. A special thank you to Clarista for being so welcoming and working multiple things out during my stay. I can't want to come back!

Our recent stay at Silver Sands Beach House in Grenada was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled along the tranquil shores of Portici Beach, this intimate resort truly delivers on its promise of island escapism and personal service.

Atmosphere & Accommodations From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful ambiance. The resort is beautifully framed by lush greenery and dramatic stone bluffs, with only 28 thoughtfully designed villas and suites. Our villa offered breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean-waking up to that vista every morning was a dream come true.

Service & Staff What truly set Silver Sands Beach House apart was the genuine warmth of the staff. Every team member, from the front desk to the gardeners, greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The service felt personal and sincere, enhancing the sense of relaxation and belonging throughout our stay.

Amenities & Activities The infinity pool overlooking the beach was a highlight-perfect for a refreshing dip while soaking in the stunning scenery. Snorkeling right off the beach was another unforgettable experience; the water was clear, and the marine life vibrant, making it one of the best snorkeling spots we've encountered in the Caribbean.

Dining Dining at Azzurro, the resort’s beachfront restaurant, was a delight. The menu combines Caribbean charm with Mediterranean flavors, and every meal was a treat, showcasing fresh local ingredients in inventive dishes.

Overall Experience Having traveled to many resorts across the Caribbean, we found Silver Sands Beach House to be uniquely matched to our preferences for tranquility, natural beauty, and attentive service. It’s rare to find a place that feels like a true escape while still offering every comfort and amenity.

Special Thanks A special mention goes to our travel agent, Gillian Fawcett, whose expertise made the planning and execution of our trip effortless. We’ll be relying on her for all our future vacations.

Final Thoughts We left Silver Sands Beach House feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return. For anyone seeking a quiet, personal, and luxurious Caribbean getaway, we cannot recommend this resort...
