Hotel Y Restaurante Villa Aurora — Hotel in Alta Verapaz

My family and I stayed here on the way to Semuc Champey. We found this hotel because the driver we hired for 5 days knew about it. The hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood and it has a great view of the city. The room we stayed in had 4 beds, LCD TV with cable chnls in Spanish and English. The bathroom shower also comes with hot water which was nice since other hotels we stayed in didn't have it. Some rooms do offer wifi if your close enough to the main office, the rooms next to the pool get no wifi signal. Our group was big so we got two room, each with 4 beds. We paid Q700 for both rooms. The next morning when checking out the guy at the fron desk was really nice, he was telling us what places to visit and see and how much people at Lanquin were charging for the pick up trucks to take us to semuc champey. No tiene servicios de desayuno o senas. A decaído y. Poca iluminación en la entra y subida al hotel. Personal de ese día está muy aburrido ya que ni ganas de atender tenía y no se le mira interés en brindar un mejor servicio. Adicional me da tristeza saber que está persona no puede ni hacer la cena que no mayor ciencia que frijoles y huevos y pan y frasco. La piscina es muy agradable y no se corre peligro para los niños. El hotel está ubicado en una excelente ubicación. Las habitaciones son sencillas pero cuentan con lo básico. El Wifi es muy bueno, puedes utilizarlo en el restaurante o en la sala que es como estuvieras en casa.
