Hotel Casa Chapultepec — Hotel in Cobán

I booked for two nights. My plan has changed so I sent the hotel a message. They never answered. I was unable to arrive on day one of my reservation. Still haven’t heard back from the hotel about the change so when I came the following day, they told me that there was no space. My reservation was still in tact and never cancelled so I don’t understand how there was no space for me. It was about a two mile walk from the bus stop and the WiFi wasn’t working either. On first glance, a nice hotel with gorgeous gardens and just as nice decor. The magic all together disappears once you lay down on the beds! I stayed at this hotel during my visit to Semuc champey. We stopped at Coban at this hotel for the night. Beuatiful ambience and gives you the traditional guatemalan feel. Nice little cozy rooms. Dorms are availalbe as well. Very friendly staff and a musuclar friendly dog as well!
