Los Olivos La Playa — Hotel in Escuintla

When we arrived they notified us that they would assign us a temporary room and the next day we needed to move because of a “problem” (guest didn’t want to leave) Rooms are cozy, very minimalistic,l and small. Air conditioner was disabled from the fuse box so we had to call the staff to enable it. Staff at counter not so friendly. Staff for rooms… are friendlier. My experience was a quiet environment at night but at the restaurant the music was really loud (not for relaxing) even tho we asked very politely for volume to be turned down. The beach is close and adjacent to the hotel was kind of dirty. ||Bed was very stiff but didn’t have a bad night at the end. ||Food service is slow. I enjoyed the location And it was a nice quiet experience during the week before the weekend rush. The grass was well maintained and watered by the gardener. The rooms were clean and well maintained and there was hot water for bathing and the air conditioning to keep cool. The only issue I have is That the restaurant does not provide a menu for the guests to choose their food that they want to eat. They only have a menu available on the kitchen's staff's phone but they said I could access with my phone but I couldn't.
