Hotel Sinaloa — Hotel in Guatemala City

This hotel represents an excellent option for entomologists, as the place is crawling with bugs, many among them roaches big and small. The staff was not prepared for my arrival, despite my having made reservations a week prior and called in the day before to confirm. (When I called to confirm, the staff had no idea about my reservation either, and I was put into contact with management who assured me my reservation had been recorded.) After much to do, and a last minute effort on the part of the staff to raise the nightly rate, I was finally brought to my room, which was filthy.
