Grand Copal — Hotel in Huehuetenango

Let me start by saying that this hotel has potential. The rooms in this hotel has no ventilation whatsoever. The room that we stayed in has one window that was open into the bathroom of the other room which we can hear everything that happens in that bathroom very noise and potentially smelled everything from the other bathroom very disgusting. The pillows are disgusting with mold or whatever they are filled with black stuff. They were able to change it after talking to the manager and he said that it's because staff puts the sheets wet and because there's no ventilation.

The beds and pillows are worse!!! Pillows are hard as a rock and the bed its like sleeping on the floor.

The water pressure, there's no water pressure whatsoever. No cold water, the water was just trickling down.

The staff- the chubby guy so arrogant like buddy chill take a course how to handle customer properly.

Again, this hotel has potential they need to listen if they want to prosper and honestly the area is very ideal for many nearby areas and people visiting family members and can stay near by. Like us, we were visiting family in San gaspar and the closest hotel was that or Huehue and unfortunately we had to go to Huehue and stayed there for the duration of our trip. I'll suggest to add dehumidifier and find a way in installing Air conditioning or something. Change the bed or start investing in something comfortable that...

Esta bien para pasar la noche. Tiene estacionamiento subterráneo, wifi (aunque en el tercer piso es baja la señal), agua caliente y las camas estan muy comodas. Las habitaciones son amplias y el baño grande. Te dan toallas jabon y shampoo. Tiene restaurante que sirve las 3 comidas (cenamos ahi pero no me gusto mucho). Lo que le falta es algunos detalles, como un colgador para las toallas en el baño, una vez mojadas no hay donde ponerlas, un tapete para salir de la regadera xq se moja todo, que las sabanas y las almohadas no huelan a humedad, que se pueda abrir la ventana del cuarto para que entre un poco de aire y que acepten tarjeta porque solo aceptan efectivo y en el pueblo solo hay un cajero y estuvimos a punto de quedarnos sin hotel xq el cajero estaba fuera de servicio. Es muy buen hotel, cómodo y con instalaciones limpias y amplias, ahora cuenta con piscina y parqueo amplio, por cuestiones de trabajo me he quedado un mes, y me han cobrado Q750, incluyendo wifi, agua caliente, parqueo y tv con cable, hacen limpieza una vez a la semana, incluyendo cambio de sábanas y almohadas, lo único es que algunas huelen a humedad, también cuentan con restaurante, aunque deben afinar esa área, en el último piso tiene cancha sintética, así que aveces escucharan algo de ruido, sin embargo muy bueno para el precio que manejan, con gusto regreso...
