Anna Inn — Hotel in Olintepeque

We were recently in Quetzaltenango and stayed in this delightful hotel. The Hotel from first glance is rather plain, but don't be fooled by appearances. Our stay was excellent. The staff was absolutely superb in service. There is a restaurant that is adequate. It is not fancy and the food was well prepared, very tasty, and well priced. The service was excellent. This hotel has breakfast included in the price of the stay. Breakfast was in the dining room and was made to order. There were several menu options available. During our stay, we had 3 separate meals for breakfast, all of which were a very nice way to start a day. Additionally we did not have to wait long for the kitchen to prepare the meal. ||Our room was very nicely done. We had a king bed on the corner of the hotel with an excellent view. The room was very well cared for and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of hot water in an adequate bathroom. We had two very good nights due to the fact that this hotel is off the main roads. Speaking of roads, the road leading to the hotel gave us concern due to the numerous potholes and general condition of the road. But once at the Hotel we were pleasantly surprised. Located off the city, it is a good choice if you just want to get some rest waiting for some day trip.
