Hotel Santa Cruz is a very pleasant and comfortable hotel. The grounds are huge and a veritable lush paradise of color in a relatively-arid part of Guatemala. The bungalows are somewhat modest but clean, and the air conditioning is effective. There is high-speed internet available in the comedor (dining room). The other meals were good except for the meats. The beef was tough and chicken became tiresome - not a lot of variety. The daily black beans were a plus. They definitely know how to make them right in Guatemala. I learned something. Service was good...
