Ok... It's not a good place by european standards.||But... There didn't seem to be a lot more choices around, apart from the usual couple of 5 stars multinationals that always seem to around even in the worst of capitals.||As such, for the mid-of-the-range guest, this is as good as it gets in Conacky.||Even if, just off the top of my head, the tv in the room didn't work at all, breakfast was quite frugal, there was water dripping from the bathroom ceiling and there was no bath curtain...||Also, beware, the website is quite misleading, they have hired a very nice agency to deal with advertising online, I must say!||Although, in fairness, the place did seem to be under new administration, because small renovations were taking place here and there while I was there. So, the website may be somewhat aspirational as to where they aim to be, rather than what the place actually is......
Read moreRiviera hotel rooms are OK. I would so not bad at all, but at the same time not so good also. Room AC is very old, it's working though, needs to be replaced. TV is not useful for foreigners especially who doesn't understand French. Complimentary breakfast is also OK, not so good. It serves 2 fresh fruits, round bread, butter, jam, 3 different crossaints, salad, olives, corn flakes 3 flavors, and you can also order omlete. Evening bar is also OK. Drinks are little expensive, e.g. a mojito costs 75000 GNF which is equivalent to USD 8.4. Overall experience is not so good. Restaurant for dinner, there are very few vegetarian dishes, yesterday I ordered FRUITS DE EXOTIQUES, I thought I would get a fruit platter containing at least 5 to 8 different fruits from across the world. Read moreWe stay at the Riviera when in transit to & from work.|Hotel staff are friendly.|Rooms are huge in the tower block, the rooms in the court yard are smaller, though plenty big enough.|Two restaurants, the food is very good, and prices are reasonable|Staff at the pool side restaurant need to polish up on the hospitability skills, very slow at times at getting service (even when its quiet)|Maria (House Keeping Manager) and her team do a fantastic job keeping the rooms up to standard, and nothing is to much trouble.|Kieta who looks after the Breakfast, does a great job|also|the Front desk reception staff who are always happy to see us return, and even know us by name|Small things make a big difference|As mentioned the standard of the food is excellent, and the kitch staff need to be congratulated on a job well...
