HOTEL JUAN CARLOS — Hotel in Catacamas

If you're foreign, you'll get an ok service, but if you're local, you're getting the worst possible service! However, if you don't mind that and can't care less, it's a good place. The security officers there are super friendly and helpful, and the people at the front desk, they are THE WORST! The rooms are nice, some of which are too small and the bathroom door doesn't open fully because it hits the bed. They have a free breakfast option with fried eggs, pancakes, pinto beans, sausage, and fruit. Their coffee ☕️ is absolutely disgusting (as a coffee connoisseur), so just go with the fresh squeezed OJ. If you can't function without coffee, then I suggest drowning it with milk, creamer, and sugar, I'm not promising it'll be great, but at least drinkable. The swimming pool is quite big and clean so go for it! It's worthwhile. They sell OTC meds at the lobby, you never know, and they have an inside parking lot that they close. Para el desayuno pedimos café y nos dijeron que no lo habian hecho y que podrían hacerlo si esperábamos. Al final terminamos el desayuno y nunca llevaron el café. También preguntamos si tenían pancakes y nos dijeron que no. Que sólo había una opción de desayuno. Es importante ofrecer al cliente varias opciones de bebida y comida. La habitación en la que dormimos tenía el aire acondicionado en mal estado, porque se bajaba a 16 grados y el control no funcionaba.
