Comayagua Golf Club — Hotel in Comayagua

If you want to get away for a weekend from the city this is a good option. An hour aeay from Tegucigalpa, the Hotel offers a big pool and a golf course very well kept. |The buildings themselves are not that nice but the grounds make up for it. |Although it seemed understaffed the waiters in the pool restaurant area were pretty quick and efficient. |As for drinks I liked the frozen margarita. The mojito and michelada were just ok. |Food at restaurant was above average and well priced. Rooms were ample. Doors and locks seemed a bit flimsy but I believe hotel to be safe. A minifridge is available in room which is not always available in Honduras. |Inly complaint is entrance to hotel grounds a bit slow as guard asks for ID and writes down license plate- all for safety reasons, but only one guard, one gate for exit and entrance. |I would not stay here ig I wanted to get to know comayagua as I would choose a hotel nearer to downtown. I do recommend hotel for family or friends getaway to play golf or relax...

Great place, do recommend it, will stay again for the next business trip. Unfortunately, since it was a business, I wasn't able to enjoy all of the installations the hotel offers. Unlike your regular hotel, there are housing sort of like villas, apartments and hotel rooms. Very comfortable, very clean, very safe and very quiet.||I don't give it 4 stars for the following reasons:||1) The Wi-Fi was terrible, and if it's a must for you to be able to work at night, this can be an issue.|2) Breakfast was always the same thing, it would have been nice for them to have a bit more options.||But, like I said, I would definitely stay again in this place, there is no other place in Comayagua...

Was here of a business seminar, and the location was perfect for this, however it is far from town and not easy to get to if you do not have your own car. Food was very good, as well as general service. Rooms are clean, but a in need of refurbishing. Beds are old and uncomfortable, bathroom door would not close easily. Generally speaking, it needs a bit of tender loving care to be brought up a notch.
