I went with a large group, and when we arrived we got off to a rather bad start. We had known that only some rooms would have refrigerators. We did not know that only some rooms have air conditioners. As it turned out, we slept fine without air conditioning, though the rooms were somewhat hot during the day and may have been too hot during certain months. The grounds were nice and there are two lovely macaw parrots. Unfortunately, there are also some roosters that "sing" all night long. The restaurant has very good food. The portions are a bit smaller than I am used to at restaurants, but still enough to fill a person up. The rooms were rustic. I can't speak for other rooms, but in the one I was in it would have been nearly impossible to watch the tiny TV that was quite a ways from any of the beds, so we never even tried. THe beds were comfortable enough, but definitely not luxurious. The housekeepers came every day but often forgot to give us enough towels. I'd say it's a good place to go if you want to get away and not spend much, but don't go here if you are looking for...
Read moreMy wife and I have stayed here many, many times over the past several years. We are never disappointed. We love the rooms and how they feel rustic/authentic Honduran countryside. They are very comfortable. The rooms are always clean and they have air conditioning as well as hot water showers. The garden area is always beautiful and well maintained. The breakfasts included in our stays were always very good. We love their customer service. One time we left an expensive pair of headphones in our room. We didn't realize this until we arrived home over 8 hours away from the hotel in a very remote region of Honduras. We called the hotel and they told us that they had found them. The staff was so kind. The employee we talked to drove our headphones downtown to a national shipping company and they arrived in the closest large town to our home within a couple of days. We offered to pay for the shipping of the headphones, but they wouldn't let us. We look forward to many more stays in this...
Read moreThe scenario and surroundings are beautiful, with many trees and flowers, even tons of butterflies its a gorgeous place to relax. It has a pool which is very clean with one for adults and one for kids. Rooms are accomodated with basic necessities but they have a huge issue in cleanliness. We had to move our beds to get them together for our kids and discover a great amount of dirt and lint under the beds as if they hadn't cleaned under the beds in months. Actually the whole room felt very dirty. My child is very allergic to eat and sadly got very sick because of this, couldn't sleep the whole night with strong coughing episodes. If the hotel would have been clean enogh it would made a 4 stars stay becaue even...
