Hotel Vista del Mar — Hotel in Trujillo

The owners Gladys and Herman really care about each and every guest. We stayed for the first time in January 2022 for my son's wedding. They didn't blink an eye when I loaded my room with flowers and turned it into a florist shop for the wedding. They hosted our Mission Trip in June - July 2022, 2023. We stayed there November 2022 and 2023 for more mission work. The hotel is nice, kept very clean, and the staff are attentive and wonderful people. I highly recommend the VDM to anyone visiting Trujillo. My son and daughter in law spent their honey moon night in the Christopher Columbus and said the Vista Del Mar rooms are nicer than the room...

It's a pretty good hotel, especially for the price. The breakfast is AWESOME and the Staff is great. They have a generator so if power cuts out you can still charge your phone or watch TV while you wait for it to come back on. IF you decide to stay here, I recommend you to buy mobile data because in my stay there the WiFi was either not available or would let you connect but you wouldn't be able to USE the internet. Also, some better blankets would be appreciated, as they provide close to NO warmth at all. Wear a sweater or crank the A/C up to a higher temperature. Overall I rate this place 4 out of 5 stars. I definitely think this is one or the best hotel in Trujillo, I love their customers service, breakfast, lunch and dinner is serve if you like, I only go with the great tipical Honduran breakfast, great security 24 hours, indoor lounge for your beverages (beer) at any time and a beautiful swimming pool for adults and kids, all you you to be comfortable, safe and feeling at home place, you will love it and the prices are exaggerated low, I had a family of 5 in one room I was amazed, you can't compare anything like this place in...
