Elizabeth Hotel — Hotel in Bajai járás

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL DURING SUMMER TIME! This is by far the worst Hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many. Peak summer season, August, they gave us a room below the roof which felt like we were inside a furnace! Room temperature was 38 degrees C and the air conditioning was so old that I couldn’t bring it down even after 5 hours. I decided we were going to check out and find another Hotel, to which the guy at the reception said we still have to pay for the full booking overnight even though we stayed for only 5 hours there, didn’t eat, didn’t drink anything. At the end after speaking on the phone with his “boss” they decided to give us a discount which still meant I had to pay 117 euros for a furnace room from hell! A really nice hotel with great interior both in the rooms and the bathroom. What brings the rating down for me was the fact that there is no air condition working in any of the rooms we booked. With 30 degrees outside the rooms gets really super hot and the possibility to cool down the room is crusial. Although we told the staff at two occasions they could not fix it and the sauna room was a fact. The breakfast was ok. They had 2 types of eggs (scrambled and sunnuside up) some white bread, ham and cheese, marmalade and some plastic cups with yoghurt.
