Green Buda Valley — Hotel in Budapest

We had a wonderful stay at this home in the Buda part of Budapest. The house was neat, clean, and catered to all our needs. The kitchen was fully equipped with quality cookware, and the bathrooms were modern and spotless. The beds were very comfortable, and the photos accurately reflect the space—what you see is exactly what you get.

Although there’s no cleaning service, the washing machine, dryer, and well-stocked cleaning supplies made it easy to keep things tidy ourselves. Christoph and Katrin, the hosts, were absolutely lovely—warm, accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay. After long, tiring days at our conference, the house truly felt like a home away from home.

The only thing to note is that the location is in a quiet suburban area of Budapest—not within walking distance of the city center. But perfect for an early morning run. A car to get to the city is helpful, although buses do run along the street. Still, for our purposes, the location worked perfectly.

Im Grünen, ruhig und trotzdem ganz nah dran Wir haben Budapest für ein verlängertes Wochenende zu viert mit dem Auto besucht und eine Wohnung in Stadtnähe mit kostenlosem und sicherem Parkplatz gesucht. Diese Ferienwohnung war ein absoluter Glücksgriff und perfekt für uns. Die Lage ist toll, das Auto parkt direkt auf dem eingezäunten Grundstück, das Apartment ist super schön, sehr hell und extrem geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, in der Küche und in den Zimmern ist an alles gedacht. In der Nähe der Ferienwohnung haben wir sogar ein nettes Restaurant entdeckt, fußläufig und nicht so touristisch. Auch ein Mini Supermarkt und eine französische Bäckerei sind ganz in der Nähe. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist gut. Es gab selbst abends kaum Wartezeiten beim Umsteigen.
