Palota Panzió — Hotel in Budapest

DO NOT COME ! We booked for two nights but could only stay one at how filthy this cottage is. The smell can't be described at how unbearable it is. Cleanliness? ZERO. I don't understand how people can give positive reviews to this hostel. Lots of spiders, BUGS, walls with drink marks. The dusty bed and pillows are also uncomfortable. The reception said that they are DENYING our 'complaint' because they have very good staff and know what they are capable of. I told them to come with us into the room to see how DIRTY, DUSTY and UNKEMPT it's the room they gave us. Good thing they at least gave us our money back for the night we didn't stay. The place smells like an old and abused ashtray, despite smoking isn’t permitted on-site. Beds were old and have seen better days, proper discomfort.
