Fenyves Yacht Club — Hotel in Fonyódi járás

I had made a booking with booking.com based on information provided saying they speak your language and close to wine area which said approx. 10km and that new hotel. When we got there the hotel looks great, but when I went to speak English no one spoke English at all not even a single word which is misleading lucky my sister in law spoken Hungarian, next problem was that while it is 10km to wine area by boat if you have to drive its over 40km away but only private boats or water taxi so had to catch a train down to the next town and then boat which was in the end turned out to be a great way to travel and day out. The hotel is more western standard compared to typical Europe standards which was great modern, air conditional room with balcony. Lift, down stairs there is bar, billards and bowling alley. At reception a restaurant and outside green space with seat, tables and chairs, while it was peak season hotel not busy. Great views to the lake and boats and short walk to go swimming in lake balaton. We ate diner her service and food was great. Breakfast was included in the price and vest tasty and plentiful. Overall apart from speaking no English, it would be hard if you did not have someone there that spoke Hungarian I would recommended this hotel and location and great to catch the commuter ferry over...

We were in your restaurant today and there is one young girl with brown hair and we ordered food and after bringing the food to the table she put the plates down and was not saying a word. Just because people are not from Hungary they should still be friendly. Please teach them how to be friendly, because this is an restaurant and there is always a tip automatically on the bill which we have to pay. But I am not going to pay a tip for unfriendlyness. Next issue is when we take a seat outside on the terrace, we usually wait a long time until we are served. And there are ants running around on the table, which is disgusting. Last time we came there were no seats at the table. We had to grab the chairs stacked up and then came the lady to serve us. She is middle aged and has short brown hair. She slammed the laminated menue on the table and left with the words: That's all we have today to eat. After that we waited for 20 mins with no service. We left.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, im "Fenyves Yacht Club" zu übernachten, und ich kann ohne Zweifel sagen, dass es sich hierbei um ein wirklich erstklassiges Hotel handelt. Das Hotel ist modern und scheint gerade erst eröffnet worden zu sein. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und verfügen über hochwertige Ausstattung. Man merkt, dass hier viel Liebe zum Detail steckt.

Das Hotel erstreckt sich über ein ausgedehntes Gelände mit einem Yachthafen und einer sehr langen Mole. Das macht es zu einem perfekten Ort für Wassersportliebhaber. Das hoteleigene Restaurant bietet erstklassige Speisen zu einem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Speisekarte ist zwar klein, aber die Gerichte sind äußerst interessant und köstlich, ergänzt durch eine Auswahl an köstlichen ungarischen Weinen. Auf dem Gelände gibt es auch eine Bar mit Sonnendeck, die zum Entspannen einlädt.

Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel ist beeindruckend, und die Zimmer verfügen über Balkone, auf denen man die frische Luft und den Blick auf die Umgebung genießen kann. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer ruhigen Dorflage, was für eine sehr entspannende Atmosphäre sorgt. Tagsüber hört man gelegentlich vorbeifahrende Züge, aber nachts kehrt die Ruhe ein.

Die gute Autobahnanbindung ermöglicht Tagesausflüge nach Budapest für diejenigen, die die Hauptstadt Ungarns erkunden möchten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls in der Nähe, und Discounter sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.

Vom Ufer des Hotels aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die andere Seite des Sees, und die Sonnenuntergänge von der Mole aus sind atemberaubend. Das Hotel ist auch hundefreundlich und bietet viel Platz auf dem Gelände für unsere vierbeinigen Freunde. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht.

Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ausgezeichnet, und das "Fenyves Yacht Club" bietet ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis. Ich kann es nur...
