I went on an "Amazing Race"-type solo, visiting 25 countries in 14 days. I am putting this place down as THE winner for the trip. Keep in mind that I rate motels about 80% on how quiet they are. This place might have been the quietest motel I've ever been to. Even the people eating breakfast didn't make much noise with their flatware on their plates. I am sure it is different when the stadium next door is being used. I heard literally zero noise from any other guest or employee when I got into my room, and that includes the practically obligatory slamming of doors by other guests or the cleaning crew. The breakfast was 100%. I rate breakfast this way, scrambled eggs exist yes/no (50%); bacon exists yes/no (50%). Shower was 90%. I rate on water flow rate, heat, and heat control, generally. All these were good, but the rubber grommet on the bottom of the shower wand was somehow busted, and so the wand could not be affixed with infinite control. This was okay for me, because I could wedge the thing in at a place where the height/angle were perfect. That wouldn't work for people of different height/preference. Anyway, that was the only defect. The room also had a great view of the stadium. That was interesting. Parking can't be beat. Huge, empty, free lot right next to it. And finally, I just wanted to mention another real plus. The guy at the desk had a tag that said "Papp Laszlo". He was a thinker. I deal with so many non-thinkers that it is really refreshing to come across a fellow thinker. I have very finely tuned thinkdar. A morgue-quiet motel with a thinker at the...

No kettle and tea/coffee but a pretty well stocked mini bar was useful.||Happily I had a stadium view which was even better given that Gyor were playing that evening. Partially watched 1st half from the restaurant but enjoyed 2nd half from the room. Impressed with the soundproofing with windows closed having taken I the atmosphere with windows open.||The food was a decent quality. Enjoyed a burger on the first night and a bigger meal on the 2nd night with a nice Beef Goulash starter and an excellent lamb dish. We also tried some desserts which were nice as well as some local drinks.||The hotel is on the edge of Gyor in a more commercial / industrial area so not the prettiest area but access to the motorway was good. Didn’t have time to visit the city centre unfortunately or use the wellness centre.||Breakfast set me up well on both days with a wide selection of options from the buffet.||Staff were pleasant enough and everything worked well and importantly I slept well...
