EuroVelo6 Stop-Solt — Hotel in Kalocsai járás

This place is a gem. Great amenities, everything is beautifully maintained, fantastic value ... I could go on and on! I'm an American journalist doing a series of articles on cycling in Europe, and will highly recommend this stop to all. I needed a break from the heatwave and campgrounds and I got lucky with this stop. Easy check-in, friendly reception. The room(s) are just as nice as you would find at a fancy hotel, with great rates. Gracious host with fantastic people skills, and a tour of their wine cellar (and cold beer) to complete stay. If you're on a bicycle (or other), you need to stop here! I'm sure there are always those people that can nitpick about any stay but honestly you're not going to do better for a good...

I didn't see all of the community of Solt. The EuroVelo6 is crossing it, therefore I chose to go there. The pension was fantastic! The room was actually a studio. It was decorated with love, as it seemed. The owner was very service minded. I bought breakfast as well and all was from the own garden or homemade. Forget all the other places around. Stay at...

Amazing host and fabulous accommodations. Great combination of room sizes, plus very accommodating with a rack to dry clothes and indoors storage for our 4 bikes etc. After 104 km on touring bikes, we were very glad to find this place right along...
