Nádas Tó Park Hotel — Hotel in Monori járás

Here for a wedding and facilities were great; waiting staff for food was great but there was confusion with my having pre-paid/booked lunches and their need to charge me again for costs (despite informing them of the prepaid arrangement before). Calmly explained and tried to show the invoice itemised for the said lunches etc but reception then clearly showed their displeasure and impatience and started whisking out receipts on their side to prove me wrong despite patience and civility on my side. As an English-speaking Asian with little Hungarian, I understand that I’m ‘at the wrong’ for not knowing their language and while most of the staff are extremely helpful (even when we clearly don’t understand each other’s spoken language!) and worked kindly with the guests, I feel some of the staff maybe feel it is beneath them to be serving or manning the reception desk.

Best to attend with Hungarian-speaking friends/host; otherwise be ready to be made to feel very unwelcome and although I’ve paid for my stay, I feel like I was there on their charity and goodwill!

Shame as 80% of their staff at least are VERY warm and VERY helpful despite varying levels of English...

The location, the staff and the opportunities there have provided us an impeccable experience.||||We participated on a wedding there, what was well organized, tidy and beautiful. ||Staff was extremely friendly, attentive and quick. I did not matter it was already 4 AM in the morning, they were there to serve our needs.||||We asked for an iron before the event. The lady at the reception sent it to our room within a few minutes. It had no fee. Our room was amazing, bright and well organized. ||||Day after the event we could go down to the breakfast area. There is almond milk !!! It is really rare outside of Budapest. Right after breakfast we could enjoy wellness, 4 types of sauna, clear towels and robes. Large pool and a jacuzzi. Recommended even for people with coeliac disease and milk protein intolerance. The staff was extremely attentive. Despite the full board service, they didn’t make a fuss about the lack of options; instead, they kindly offered to prepare meals separately in a sterile pan.
