Motelnet.T — Hotel in Mosonmagyaróvári járás

Sole purpose for staying here was to be near the station and this road side Motel was around 10 minutes walk away. Otherwise it really is a place for a one night stop passing through. It might be low cost, but fell far short in terms of quality. ||||On arrival I was greeted by the guy on reception. Asked for payment which fortunately lower than what booking.com quoted me as no single use of a double/twin tariff was published. Then we hit a problem - no card reader was working. I asked if the one use for the bar/restaurant was working which he said yes, so was somewhat taken back that wasn't utilised. As I didn't have enough Hungarian currency or euro cash on me, I had to make a 30 minute walk to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash out. Came back, paid and settled up. The price was knocked down from around HUF 6400 to 6000. ||||Corridor light switches hard at first to find especially at the top of the stairs. The room was furnished to a very basic standard, in poor condition and dirty. This included the bathroom which didn't even have a cup. Shower cubical leaked. Only one thin bath towel, no hand towel or foot mat. ||||There was WiFi, however not very good. ||||I had an evening meal which was good value and although basic quite welcoming after a long day including another 30 minute trip to the bank. And yes, I could pay for the meal by card.I left early in the morning so didn't take breakfast. ||||Overall - I cannot recommend...

I were there 2 times whit my friends. Slept 1 night each time in 2 different rooms.||Availability||Its only about 800 meters from the motorway between Vine and Budapest||Privet parking whit fence or parking in front of the Hotel.||People||So first of all the riceptionists and the waitresses were really kind answered all my questions and helped me whit every thing. No problem.||Price||we were first in a 3 bad room then in a 4 but it dosent mattered the price were the same for 3 of us. ||it was cheap but sadly it didnt include the dinner i needed to pay that in the restaurant. The brekfeast were in the price. They accept Euro and Forints to.||Rooms.||Well the rooms were clean but not that shiny ones. ||Fully basic rooms whit old tv. Privet shower, toilet in each room were good.||The matresses were old and the bedding to. Not fully confortable but it was good for 1 night sleep. The second room was quiter then the first becaous the first one where we slept is next to the main road. If you arent looking for High standardsl it is totaly fine. Its cheap to.||Food||The food were cheap and fine. At first I was hesitant, because the place looks nothing extra on the outside. Even when you enter, it starts to look like a bar, then a homely, cozy place awaits as you enter. The server is extra nice and helpful. The selection is quite wide, but don't expect fast foods here. It is a "csárda" restaurant, where you are greeted with traditional Hungarian cuisine. The bean soup was delicious and abundant. One serving was enough for the two of us to almost get full. I am always hesitant to order a steak in restaurants, because most times it is either not fresh or not grilled to perfection. I was pleasantly surprised. It was thick, I mean thick as it should be.
