Györgyey Kastély Panzió és Étterem — Hotel in Nagykátai járás

Booked this place for three nights on recommendations from our business associate. it was very close where we were working. Very little English spoken. Cost is great, compared to places in larger towns. Off street parking. Right next to a small store for grocery and other. Room was relatively clean. Very quiet at night, but trucks rumble past in the morning and many store patrons. Bed was decent and I slept well. One huge pillow and one tiny one. Doesn't appear to have HVAC, but weather was good, so open window and patio door was enough ventilation. Room was small. No working desk. No chairs. Had to sit up in the bed to work, or go to common area to sit. Bathroom has shower and sink. Good hot water and pressure. Breakfast was typical, but the coffee seemed to run out and not refilled. Dinner fare was great and I was actually looking forward to the meal. One beer on tap, local brew. Service was good and no worries. WiFi was a bit wonky and some difficulty getting on. No drops however once established. They have a small gym, kind of in the hall. Walked around the village, and not much to do. Appears to have a castle of sorts as a tourist draw, but i did not go in. A few cafes scattered about. Ate all meals at the hotel. Good prices, at least for me....

Last year we were there with the family on a a Christmas lunch and the olace was really good. Nice food and a really helpful staff. Today we went there again and the standards are really low now. Cold food, not really tasty and the staff is friendly but not really professional. I doubt that we will go there next year or ever more. This is really sad as this was a really good place...

Senkinek sem ajánlom. Amit művelnek azaz igazi hitvány, alávaló vendéglátás csimborasszója. Telefonon rendeltem tőlük ételt, amiért el is mentünk. Már eleve furcsának találtam, hogy a név alapján nem tudta beazonosítani az egyetlen felszolgáló a rendelést. És az ételek neveivel is hadilábon állt, az egyiket egy trágár szóval helyettesítette, annyira frusztrálta gondolom, hogy nem ugrott be neki a név. Majd a képen is mellékelt eredmény fogadott minket mikor pakoltunk be az autóba, a tároló dobozok teljesen átáztak és összefolytak az ételek. Mikor kinyitottam kiderült, hogy nem is azt kaptuk amit kértünk. Egy egész 2 főre való tálat sikerült egy normál adag pörkölttel lecserélni:D Miután visszamentünk rendezni a kellemetlenséget nem jártunk sikerrel. Flegma, kioktató és lekezelő stílusban, hazugságokat a fejemhez vágva intézték az ügyet. Kár, hogy a kicsinyes, kisstílű beszólásokkal nem lehet jóllakni... akkor legalább a kétszemélyes tál hiánya nem okozott volna csalódást. Természetesen az egész konfliktust egy részeg krahácsolása narrálta. Tudom ajánlani, hogy a hely imidzsét is ehhez igazítsák inkább, mert kulturált vendéglátóhelynek ez...
