Palm Spa Hotel — Hotel in Nyírbátori járás

We booked a suite for 2 nights, for the new years eve and 1st of january, which consisted of a large lounge, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchenette. The rooms were dirty, with spider webs on the wall(including near the bed). The walls were flooded recently and there was a strong dampness smell. The bathroom and the kitchenette were clean though. All windows have automatic roll shutters, which helps to keep the sun out. There were tv's in all rooms and bathroom. The bathroom has a jacuzzi. Didn't use it, after we saw the lack of cleanliness in the rest of the suite. The problem with the tv's is the channel list: every channel is dubbed in hungarian and international channels are blocked. The wi-fi works reasonable. The buffet breakfast is served in the dining room, it was simple, but adequate. Another problem is due to the lack of tables. Only 4 tables available so you have every chance at waiting in front of the door to get a table for breakfast. The Palma is located close to the centre of Nyírbátor, so is close to the main shopping area and market. Staff were very friendly. The only things that make me give 2 stars instead of one is the staff and food served at breakfast. Not coming...

My wife and I were staying in Nyírbátor for 3 nights to attend a friends wedding. We had not been there before and with it being off the beaten track, there is a limited hotel choice. Kedves érdeklődők! Annak, aki színvonalas pihenésre vágyik a városban, lehetőleg baráti áron, nos annak nem ajánlott itt megszállni mert drága is, és a színvonalat az alábbi kis történet tükrözi. (Ha elolvassák, köszönöm, remélem tanulságul szolgál).

Amikor belépek valahová és egy unott, egy kedvű, épp a telefonját ülve nyomkodó fiatal hölgybe botlom, aki rám sem néz annak ellenére, hogy illedelmesen, hangosan köszönök, majd amikor másodjára is köszönök, akkor megvető pillantással oda böki, hogy "szia" aztán hozzá teszi, hogy "mit szeretnél", miközben rám sem néz csak nyomkodja a telefonját stb.-stb- na oda én nem szívesen megyek az biztos. Majd a kisasszony tetézi mindezt azzal, hogy amikor mondom (még mindig magázódva) hogy a recepcióssal szeretnék beszélni szálláshely foglalás ügyben, akkor miután alaposan végig mér, a válasz a következő "akkor velem kell beszélned", mindezt úgy, hogy nem ment be az információs pult mögé, nem kínált engem sem hellyel.. semmit sem mondott csak egy kis étkezőasztal mögötti székben ülve, továbbra is nyomkodta a telefonját a figyelmének még csak egy részével sem tisztelve meg egy érdeklődő leendő ügyfelet, vagy csak egy kulturált embert. Sem egy ár jegyzéket nem tudott adni, sem konkrét érdemi infóval nem tudott szolgálni, csupán egy firkált papírra rá írta a szobák árát, azt is nagy nehezen, tovább nem is ragoznám, mert már így is túlbeszéltem.

Milyen figyelmet kaphat az ember ha már a recepción így állnak hozzá?

Nem gondolja az üzemeltető, hogy ez jelentősen rontja a szálloda presztízsét? Vagy csak nem tudnak róla. Nos akkor most már igen.

Megértem, hogy mindenkinek lehet rossz napja, csakhogy ennek a hölgynek 1 hét alatt 3x is volt, szóval nem vagyok meggyőződve róla, hogy nem inkább szociális fóbiája vagy "ember undora van", amit megint megértek, viszont azt nem, hogy akkor miért dolgozik olyan helyen, ahol emberekkel kell kommunikálni.

A hely drága, abszolút színvonalon aluli, amitől még el is tekinthetnénk, ha a személyzet nem volna olyan, amilyen, de hát meglátszik, hogy "Amilyen a tanya, olyan a gazda" és fordítva. Köszönöm,...
