Been a bit afraid after reading quite a few negative comments here, but have to stay: hotel, area, staff are all superb and really no reason to complain on anything! ||36 rooms, really friendly, with enough free outside parking places.||Breakfast and dinner are wide-selection, upon request they are happy to provide gluten-free and any other specifics as well.||Menu always contains kids-menu and amenities for babies/kids.||Rooms are indeed not big, but been perfectly enough, nicely set up with quality materials and absolutely clean. (Upon we arrived on a late and cold evening there, room been warm and smelled/looked clean, which was really heard-warming.)||Towels are changed, bed made, hoowered daily.||Complaints about bugs are really subjective, I also don't like them, but during this season of the year and especially right at lake side, it is normal. You can always keep them 100% outside with the bug-screen closed.||Staff is extremely kind and helpful, hotel itself also nicely dressed up for haloween during our stay. Not to mention the lake just at the doorstep which is astonishing in all seasons.||Spa entrance is free with hotel stay, you can reach that on a closed and heated corridor in 2 minutes or so, with nice view to outside. Off-season only 1 outside pool been open, it was perfect! Inside you can use the complete spa, which kids will love! ||Sauna park is not included in free entrance, but hotel has a very-very good finn sauna with shower and rest area, with nice view to the park, absolutely astonishing - and it is free for guests! You just need to ask reception to heat it up whenever you want, almost anybody uses/knows about it!||We were there during fall-vacation, so lots of kids were present, but they were not disturbing for even a minute, as majority of the time they were in the spa, which is big :D||Mornings and evenings were also quiet, we were sleeping with open balcony doors.||I can only recommend this place for families, couples...
Read moreHotel Corvus Aqua sits on a large pond making for a wonderful scenic stay. There is a walking path partially around the pond with benches to sit and take in the view. The hotel has a spectacular outdoor dining and sitting area over looking the pond. The outdoor furniture is painstakingly put away in the evening and brought out in the morning. The entire hotel inside and out is very clean. The rooms can be a little bit small for an American, but otherwise they are great. The dining services are very good with staff capable of communicating in English(thankfully since my Hungarian is not very good). In fact most of the staff speaks English very well. On top of all this, Hotel Corvus Aqua has a large selection of other services, like saunas, swimming and massage, sadly I was unable to use these. If you find yourself in Oroshaza do yourself a favor and book a stay at Hotel...

We stayed here as parents with a 3 year old girl and grandparents and we all had lovely time. Me and the grandparents suffer from artheritis, nerve problems, stomach probs.
