Brauer Panzió — Hotel in Pécsváradi járás

We spent the New Years festivities in this small, family-run place, which is located just at the edge of the tiny village. The location is very favourable for trekking the tourist trails accross the surrounding hills. I recommend to visit the ruins of the former Réka-fort, which is about an hour distance on walk. ||The horse-pension is very well maintained, has a nice surroundings with a small playing ground, and an external bar/cooking place, but moreover, as it is in a valley, a magnificient view makes the start of the day. Primarily it is for horse-riding lovers, but also facilitates "simple" tourists. Horse riding and touring on a coach is also among the services provided by the facility.||||The are a lot of parking places available within the closed park. The pension has 2 storeys, the rooms on the second flor are refurbished, flat screen TV, modern furniture and bathrooms, and complementary WiFi are amongst the services. The place is so tranquil that you can sleep lime a baby after a days walk or just hanging around.||||The place is very good for groups to visit and stay, as there are approx. 15 rooms available. There is a small restaurant, breakfast was okay, but what we enjoyed most were the traditional and delicious food prepared by the very hospitable hosts. The restaurant is also open for daily visitors.||||The owners welcome groups and are able to facilitate special group requests. For our group they organised a traditional feast of procesing pork meat. It is something that you can only see and take part in the rural Hungary, and an intesting experience for kids, too.||||We enjoyed ourselves during our group getting together, and all of our requests were met...

This was the first time that I traveled with friends and dogs (4 ppl with 3 dogs) and the dogs were actually more welcome than us :) There are leaflets around the whole inn with information on the nearest vets. Kellemes, családias légkör és kedvesség fogadott minket. A panzió minden egyes dolgozója kedves és odafigyelő volt velünk. Mindenkinek volt egy jó szava hozzánk, kirándulásokat, túrákat ajánlottak, megosztották velünk tapasztalataikat, jó tanáccsal láttak el minket, hova érdemes menni, mit érdemes megnézni. Felajánlották, saját vadászlesüket, ahova egyik este felmehettünk a vadakat nézni. Ritkán találkozunk ilyen közvetlen és kedves, igazán családias társasággal. Amit még kiemelnék az a hibátlan, fenséges, bőséges, étel és italkínálat. Volt házi körözött, és szalámi, voltak helyi termelői borok, és az ellenállhatatlan magyar konyha. Köszönjük szépen Lívia néninek, Brumi papának, Lacinak és Andreának, hogy igazán emlékezetessé és tökéletessé tették az első férj- és feleségként együtt töltött napjainkat.
