Tired Traveling Hotel and Restaurant - Romhány — Hotel in Rétsági járás

I spent the night at this place on my long distance hike through Hungary. It was pleasant enough. Some of the staff spoke English. The food was delicious. The only difficulties arose concerning my hotel room. At first I was given a room on the top floor. The AC was not working. Thea heat was unbearable. After I complained, I was given a different room - much better and much nicer. Thanks a lot for that! After dinner, there was another episode which has to be mentionned. The card-key system seemed to malfunction. I could not enter my room any more. Furthermore, the friendly hotel staff also was unable to open the door to my room. They tried different key cards and methods - to no avail. Finally, it worked. The staff took great effort to solve the problem. But of course - things like that should not happen. We stayed a night at Faradt Vandor during a two days trekking. The guesthouse is average, but our room was clean and comfortable. The reception lady who deal with everything (she was the waiter, and the cleaning lady too) was kind and helpful. The restaurant offered typical Hungarian meals on reasonable price. The food was delicious and the portion was big. The hotel offered wellness facilities too, but we didn't try that. I suggest to stay here if you want to travel around in this area, but be clear that it is a 3...

Igazából eléggé kétes érzéseim vannak. Elég sokat utaztunk, azért választottuk ezt a helyet, mert a legszimpatikusabb volt az összes közül. Mind leírás, mind pedig képek alapján. Sajnos, érkezéskor szembesültünk azzal, hogy az étterem épp nem üzemel, pedig ez is az egyik ok volt a helyválasztáskor, mert egy hosszú utazós nap után, nem akartunk máshova elmenni egy vacsora miatt. Végül muszáj volt, így átmotoroztunk Bánkra, ami szerencsére nincs messze (6perc). Ugye a személyzet mondta hogy épp tulajdonos váltás, meg minden, ez idáig teljesen rendben van. Csak hogy sehol se volt jelezve hogy nem üzemel az éttermük. Ettől eltekintve, maga a hely, nagyon kellemes, ár-érték arányban nagyon jó. Kényelmes ágy, pont elegendő fürdő. A személyzet is nagyon kedves, figyelmes, bármi volt, kézségesen segítettek. Köszönjük! Annyit hozzátennék, hogy a szobák bejárati ajtaira, valami hangszigetelési megoldás nem ártana, mert minden kis nesz behallatszik. :) De ezeket leszámítva, nagyon kellemes éjszakát töltöttünk itt.
