I was here with a group for two nights.||||It is a former aristocrat's home, made into a hotel. The thing is, the photos don't really show how nice, authentic and lovely this hotel is. It is furbished with great taste and good sense for proportions. Therefore it manages to be really charming even though there's nothing super-luxurious about it, I'd place it somewhere between Western European 3 and 4 stars, maybe a bit closer to 4. ||||Anyway staff was very friendly and highly flexible. Quality-price-ratio I found outstanding.||||Rooms were quite big, with high ceilings, tastefully equipped. ||||A very good experience; if I'd visit the Tokaj region again, I would certainly...

Free wifi that works fine, restaurant/bar with okay food, good location in the middle of the village, free parking and an average breakfast included. The price is a bit high for this part of Hungary and they charge you extra fee for A/C (like $4 Euro/night) - not a big deal, but a bit 'much' on principle. Mad is a good 'base' for the Tokaj region and, although there are some new, smaller guesthouses opening, this is still a...
