Hotel Ferihegy — Hotel in Vecsési járás

I stayed for two nights in March 2021

This is a good hotel, it's a five minute taxi ride from the airport by Bolt which cost HUF 2000 / EUR 6; the hotel has it's own shuttle too.

Check-in was warm, fast and friendly and I was in my room in just a few moments.

I had Room 108 on the ground floor at the back of the building which was good for me because it was quiet and away from the hotel parking lot.

The room was big with a comfortable double and single bed, desk to work at and two big windows that let lots of sunshine in.

The bathroom has a full sized bathtub which was a lovely surprise and a really powerful shower that was perfect to wake me up for my early morning flight!

Breakfast on Sunday had fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese, toast, cold meats and cereals

The only down side to my stay was another guest being put in the right next to mine when all other rooms on the floor were available who had really noisy times at 05h!

Overall, a good stay and great value for money, I would...

I'd give it no stars if possible. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures. Staff wasn't friendly at all. Bathroom has almost no lighting. Same goes for the hallway. Which is so dark a candle would lit it better than the few downlights that are on the ceiling. No soap. 2 tiny packages of it only. Bathroom looks dirty. Towels are....probably not freshly washed . We're only staying a night. But i feel this is not 3 stars level. This is a hostel at most. A very bad one. The tv is fixed to the wall at such an angle that it cannot be watched from the bed. Sheets are stained. Pillows are bad. The only positive is that our room has air conditioning. It works too. And the internet is decent. Oh and another sign that the rooms aren t regularly cleaned was that there was a very old candy on one of the night stands. Not the ones they have at the reception either. From some other guest . Stay away...

I rarely post any reviews but this one really, really deserves one. We had a one night stay at the hotel and my dad parked his car near the entrance. Since I came late my dad had to come over and pick me up from the train. When we came back to the hotel there was a cone on the spot where we parked before. We thought it was placed so no one would take our place. But when I picked it up and moved to the side to park a car some employee went out and started to aggresively shout at us saying something like "It's Budapest, not your home country, speak Hungarian etc". We didn't confront him, nor gave him any reason to behave like that. We parked to different spot, of course, but the mood was, as you can imagine, very bad. He never apologised, even after we explained situation to other employee. I don't think there is a place fir such behavior, even if the hotel is only for 1 night sleepover...
