Göcsej Palatinus Panzió és Étterem — Hotel in Zalaegerszegi járás

Due to unexpected change in our itinerary, we had to stop in Zalaegerszeg. It was already late and we had to choose an accommodation close to the main station. We chose the Gocsej Palatinus quickly without much checking and surprisingly, it was more than we initially expected.||[Location: The inn is just 1 to 2 minutes walk to the Zalaegerszeg Train and Bus station. Really convenient as the inn has already a restaurant. There is also nearby supermarket for cheap produce. Neighborhood is quiet.]||[Room: The room was spacious than we expected. There was already sign of aging of the hotel but nevertheless, clean.]||[Staff: Really nice and smiling staff. Almost all of them don't speak English but they are really accommodating to our needs. During language barrier, their general manager Sandra was the one who explained to us what we need to know. ]||[Bath/Toilet: Bath is actually a jacuzzi with shower but we no longer have chance to use it. It was clean but it seems that it has not been used for some time. Toilet is separated from bath.]||[Amenities: As we expected in your booking. ]||[Comfort: Bed is comfortable, not too soft and not too hard. Good pillow. We got a great sleep.]||[Temperature control: We are unsure how to control the temperature as there is no indicator or label on any switch.It was a good thing that weather and temperature that day was just enough for us that we no longer bother discovering how to control the temperature.]||[Breakfast: Basic Continental breakfast. Barátaimmal 1 éjszakát töltöttünk el a panzióban. Az odaérkezésnél a személyzet viselkedése,hagyott némi kívánnivalót maga után. Mentségükre szól,hogy vasárnap érkeztünk a szállásra, amely napon tudtommal a szolgáltatásaik nem üzemelnek,illetve éttermük is zárva tart,de mivel sietségben voltunk egy környékbeli program miatt előre leegyeztettük a személyzettel érkezésünk időpontját,hogy minél zökenőmentesebben menjen a becsekkolás és indulhassunk is tovább úticélunkhoz. A megbeszélt időre történő megérkezésünkkor azonban senki nem várt minket. Zárt ajtókat,kapukat találtunk. A tőlük kapott telefonszámot hiába hívtuk nem vette fel senki. Jelentős időveszteség után találtunk egy másik telefonszámot,amin már elértük egyik kollégájukat,aki jelezte,hogy 5 perc és érkezik. Körülbelül 10 perc után valóban bejuthattunk végre. Az úriember viselkedése nem volt túl udvarias és szimpatikus. Egyébként maga a panzió tiszta és kényelmes,főként egyetlen éjszakára tökéletesen alkalmas,leszámítva,hogy túl sok tisztálkodási eszközt nem biztosítottak egy pár miliméternyi szappanon kívül gyakorlatilag semmi sem volt a fürdőszobában. A folyékon szappantartó is teljesen üres volt,ami másnap sem került feltöltésre ottlétünk alatt. A reggeli igazából rendben volt. Összességében nem hagytak jó élményt bennünk.
