Kirkjufell View Cottages — Hotel in Iceland

🏡 Very good experience! We stayed here at the end of September as a group of 4 and were pleasantly surprised by how lovely this little cottage is. What we liked the most were the beautiful views 🌿 of nature and the water.

The cottage has a spacious kitchen 🍳, well equipped with cooking utensils, cutlery, pots, a toaster, kettle, coffee machine ☕, and a fridge. There’s a small living room with a sofa bed (which is very comfortable ) and a bedroom with a double bed 🛏️. The bathroom comes with towels, and the whole cottage is super cozy, nicely decorated, and has adjustable heating 🔥.

It’s definitely a place we would recommend . The only small downside is that the bathroom door is a sliding one, so it doesn’t fully close — something that might be a bit uncomfortable...

These cottages are really comfortable, very cute, well equipped , super clean and new. The location is very convenient and even though they are fairly close to the main road, it is extremely peaceful and quiet! The host is so pleasant and goes out of her way to help and accommodate you so you feel like you are at home. There is a beach across from the cottages and the views around are amazing. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back here soon as well as recommend it to our family...

We drove up the road for a minute just to take a picture of Kirkjufell and were assaulted by an absolute rude and hostile woman who told us we had no business being there. Mind you, we did not make any noise or drove fast or disturbed anyone's peace. There is NO sign that indicates that the road is private, so I assume it is not and she just got a kick out of telling to two respectful tourists off....
