Námshestar — Hotel in Iceland

Lovely farm located about 45 minutes outside of Reykjavik. Both Ragnheidur and her dog were warm and welcoming hosts. The two-bedroom apartment was quite spacious, giving my fiancé and I plenty of room to relax and unwind after a long day of driving and exploring. We also had plenty of space for us to unpack and reorganize our luggage before our flight home the next day. We had a beautiful view of the water and mountains, which was nice...

A lovely warm and welcoming place to stay. I have travelled all around Iceland and never felt as comfortable as I did in our stay here. Really fantastic host with all our needs met, I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay the night. Also if you’re staying here at the right time, a fantastic place to see some northern lights, I was even able to see them from my bedroom window in my bed....

Me sorprende tantas buenas opiniones. El apartamento era grande, una planta baja solo para tí, con baño incluido. Pero estaba sucio, muy mal decorado. Parecía que la señora había dejado para los huéspedes todo lo inservible que no sabía donde meter y el mobiliario que era propiamente para los huéspedes, de mala calidad. El colchón fue el peor del viaje. Horrible. Te hundias y eso que no supero los 45kg. La cocina grande y también para tí sola, pero no estaba bien equipada y lo que había, era muy viejo y antiguo, con poca utilidad. No tuvo detalles como una cafetera o unos sobres de café. La señora muy amable, pero lo siento, no volvería, no me pareció que se molestara en ofrecer comodidad y calidez a los visitantes más allá de una sonrisa...
