JUVANA RESORT & SPA — Hotel in Aamby Valley

I visited this property on a weekend for a night (thank god). I had booked directly with the property and received a booking confirmation voucher after making a 50% advance payment. ||Since this property is in Ambey Valley, it took a while to reach from Mumbai, and after a lunch break, we reached this place around 5 pm. After waiting for 20-25 minutes, the manager, Mr. Dev, informed me that they are fully booked and there is no Suite available. This is when I had booked directly with the hotel. ||He accommodated us in a lower category room for a couple of hours, but it was an inconvenience. ||The room was pretty huge and the view was amazing; however, the bad experience did not end yet. We tried ordering room service and were informed that this resort doesn't have room service. Had to go and pick super expensive food from a nearby Mediterranean restaurant. A portion of Pita + Hummus with a salad set us off by 2300. ||Ordered ice - not available. |Asked for cold water - not available.|Put the water bottle in the fridge, which doesn't work. ||And at the time of checkout, no discount was offered, and it was conveniently passed on that the revenue manager had not approved. I was informed by Mr. Dev that I will get a call from someone to understand my experience. Never got a call, which actually prompted me to write this review.||Do you really call this a four-star experience? ||I will never visit this place again - for the price it charges, the amenities and service and booking experience is pathetic. Juvana resorts is the worst property ever.The rooms are not maintained at all. No one should book this over priced worst quality stay as service is too slow, totally untrained staff, and bad restaurant facilities. Whoever books Juvana, reserves it under the impression that is a part of Ambey valley City and its management however it is totally different from Amby valley's other properties and has a separate management by some third party. Ambey valley city has no connection to Juvana whatsoever. Juvana gets booking only because of Amby valley city's name, but Amby valley manages other properties like Aveda, Burmese, etc. Not this one. Rooms stinking, broken taps and showers in the rooms, Ac leaking, unoperational Tv, no wifi and what not. We had to call 5 times at room service for an empty glass of water. It is a total waste of money to stay here. If anyone wants to enjoy Amby valley fully, please do not book this particular property...

Experienced worst service at Juavana Resort and Spa Amby Valley. No linens were available at the time of check-in. And they finally arranged linens after multiple calls and requests. Room service was pathetic. Whenever we ordered something, after we are done eating our food, they just took the place and placed them out of the room. Very unhygienic. Flies were flying on the plates. Next day, for our breakfast, they expected us to go 7kms from where we were staying and a guest car was blocking our way. Resort management had no idea whom that car belonged to. They kept of finding the car owner for more than 2 hrs. Clearly, security has also gone for a toss. Anyone can come, park their car and get away. Tomorrow if someone places a bomb in the resort, they won't know.

In short, we simply wasted our weekend and our hard-earned money at this place.
