Read moreMahua House is a beautiful resort, nestling next to Samardha forest , it changes and dons a new look in every season. It's less of a building and more of a response and idea to living in nature, with nature. 3 bedrooms, and 8 cottages many tents can comfortably accommodate groups of 20 , 30 or even 60 people for overnight stay. Day gatherings and events can be of much much larger groups or multiple groups without any mixing due to acres of open spaces all around.
It is spacious, and it's "for the family's only policy" ensures safe and happy tumultuous times for the whole group . Now equipped with air-conditioned tents , a swimming pool and multiple activity areas and equipment. It a great place to go . Nature , relaxation, recoupment and fun and family bonding close to the city but away and loving in the forest at the same time.. It's on our regular and repeat vist list. Scrolling down I saw a few negative comments and enquired from the owner. He informed that because of its locations it sometimes receives requests from young unmarried couples or college students desiring a place for rendezvous. When they are denied or refused entry due to strict "family only" policy, they tend to take their ire out on social media . Remember guys FAMILY ONLY ..No hunky dory wishy washy here....

The food is great, rooms are awesome, linen and mattresses are perfect. It is a great place to enjoy peace away from the city and beauty of nature, scores of birds to watch inside the resort itself, beautiful trees. The air is fresh and refreshing. Time stops here. It is a great place for kids also with enough of rope activities, and plenty of space to run around. We learnt that the place is great during rains also with a big hollowed area where one can boat also. Unbelievable place and the owner whom we were lucky to meet. His vision meets the needs of the times, he has an understanding of harmony with nature and and the plentiful use of scrap in the resort shows the sensitivity towards the environment and reducing human imprint. Mahua house is the place to visit and spend a few days to feel and enjoy the...
