Writing this review after staying here for 3 nights! Unfortunately the time I stayed here it was still not fully operational . I reserved a premium room but when I reached there the elderly gentleman at the front desk quite rudely told me the premium rooms doesn’t have geysers as if it was my fault I booked premium room!!
Now the kitchen - you wont get any food between 3-6 pm.. First day I ordered for veg sandwich which just had a few shredded cabbage and little to no mayonnaise on small size domestic white breads!!! Which they priced ridiculously at ₹200…. Clearly shows their kitchen stuff and the menu prices are not at sync 😄…. With very limited menu items and exorbitantly high price (Plate of palak paneer priced at ₹450 and rootis ₹80/90) I was left with no choice other than to eat outside and order pizzas. Another time I tried to order lunch around 2 pm and I was told kitchen is closed…
Another drawback is the location which is farthest to the city market and Taj Mahal… there is not a single hotel or restaurant around it. Even few rickshaw or cab wont come here. Fortunately I had my own rental car else its gonna be tough commute.

Read moreI recently stayed at The Grand Hotel in Agra during my trip with my architecture college, CTEs, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and service were top-notch. The hotel’s location is very convenient, being close to the major attractions, including the Taj Mahal, making it perfect for both tourists and those on educational trips.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with modern amenities that ensured a relaxing stay after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure all our needs were met, offering excellent customer service throughout our stay.
One of the highlights was the hotel’s dining options. The food was delicious, offering a great variety of both local and international dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, and it was a great place to unwind after a day of exploring.
Overall, The Grand Hotel Agra exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, service, and location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Agra, whether for leisure or business. It certainly made our trip more enjoyable, and I look forward to staying here again...
