A Truly Disappointing Stay at Hotel Sourav Park
I recently stayed at Hotel Sourav Park with my group, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Here’s why:
Non-Functioning Toilet: The toilet in my room was not working properly, which is a basic necessity. It was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient, especially since I was staying in a "max room."
Factory-Like Ambiance: The hotel doesn’t feel like a place to relax. Instead, it felt like I was staying in some kind of factory or warehouse, unwelcoming, and far from what you’d expect from a hotel.
Poor Management: The hotel management is extremely unprofessional. They seemed disorganized and uninterested in addressing guest concerns. My issues were ignored, and there was no effort to make my stay comfortable.
Overpriced for What It Offers: The prices are comparable to a 4-star hotel, but the quality and services are nowhere near that level. At best, it’s a 2-star hotel. You’re paying a premium for subpar facilities and service.
Paint Smell and Allergies: If you’re sensitive to strong paint smells or have allergies, avoid this place at all costs. The entire hotel reeked of paint, making it unbearable to stay indoors for long periods.
Group Booking Woes: We had booked four rooms for our group, and yet the experience was overwhelmingly disappointing. If this is the level of service provided for a larger booking, I can only imagine how much worse it would be for someone booking just one or two rooms.
Overall, my experience at Hotel Sourav Park was terrible. The lack of basic amenities, unprofessional management, and overpriced rates make it a poor choice for any traveler. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and find a better...

Our stay at this 2-star hotel was just okay, but there were several issues that made it far from a comfortable experience.
Room & Amenities: • The room was spacious but incomplete—the TV didn’t work, remotes were broken, and the blankets provided were of poor quality. • Hot water was not readily available, making it inconvenient, especially when traveling with kids. • No bath kit was provided, which is a basic expectation at this price point.
Service & Hospitality: • No laundry service was available, which was disappointing. • Outside food was not allowed, but the in-house pantry was incomplete, and no orders were fulfilled, making dining a hassle. • The receptionist was polite but only in words—actions didn’t match the hospitality expected. • Upfront payment was required for everything, making us feel mistrusted as guests. • The receptionist even came to our room for payment, which felt intrusive.
Checkout Experience: • At checkout, we asked for an extra hour due to our infant child, but the owner was rude and refused.
Location & Pricing: • The hotel is far from the city, making it only suitable for highway commuters. • The rent was ₹2000, which felt overpriced given the lack of essential services.
Final Verdict:
With poor service, incomplete amenities, and rude behavior, we would not recommend staying here unless they improve their services. Avoid until they fix...
