Graces Resort — Hotel in Amajhir

NEVER EVER PLAN FOR THIS RESORT A BIG "NO" !!! YOU SPOILED OUR DAY, SOMEONE's ANNIVERSARY AND WHOLE MOMENT OF SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY. DONT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO THEIR GUESTS I booked this resort for 3 families yesterday and did my life's biggest mistake to book Graces Resort. Let me share with you all why I am saying this.

1. After 2 weeks of wait time, Mr Shailesh(Manager) gave us the booking for Sunday and committed to give the near by rooms but when we drove for 3 hours and checked In as per the allotted time of 2 PM we all were being asked to initially wait at reception for 30 mins then to wait in a single room (i.e. with 3 couples and 3 kids - Total 9 pax ) as their so called HOUSE KEEPING was not able to clean the rooms and allot to us So, till 5 PM we all 9 ppl were waiting in a single room and chasing for our rooms allotment, where as the manager and receptionist were ignoring our calls and had no update on the tentative time to allot the room. Had to again and again visit to reception to get the update.
2. Being with small kids, we somehow managed to adjust ourself in a single room with outside temp as 35* and ordered a food, and believe me, it took 45 min - 60 mins to serve the food and they took next 30min to serve the chapatis Not that much, they gave 2 plates in 9 members to eat our Lunch and provided extra plates after next 45 mins, when the whole food was cold and wasted Pathetic service.
3. Now when I got the rooms and planned to visit the pool area, what I found that they don’t have the KEY in the room and switched-on lights with a Sanitizer Sachet in the Key socket. Silly guys And again, I struggled for next 1 hour to get the room keys to get my belongings safe and go for pool area, so it was almost 6 PM now, I wasted my day and evening time. Bathroom door broken in Room#220, No bathroom sleepers, no Dental Kits, no hangers in Almirah, what all should I mention and blame you
4. When I came back and have to again struggle to call 501 (Their restaurant number) to place an order for tea and some snacks for kids but they did not pick up the phone for almost 20 mins and after taking the order did not server for next 2 hours and I finally cancelled that
5. None of the outdoor activity was operational at that moment, and no one was present near indoor activities to help us and provide with balls and rackets. Common guys, till 8 PM, you were not able to settle your guests and when we lost our patience and visited reception and shouted on all managers and staffs, they did not have time to speak with us initially and was not able to handle our concerns. Guys if you can’t provide the service to your guests, better ask them to plan next week or refuse on the first level. It was a Sunday with 3 families of us and 4-5 other members and you cant even serve them. Graces is a beautiful resort, if you are after a relaxing trip with your partner or family or even friends, it is a recommended place. However, few things to keep in mind, RINKU DHAKAD who you might speak on phone while booking a room, calls himself a manager, has poor skills in communicating, very rude and arrogant behaviour while talking and is putting the company at a great risk. On being asked if a there were extra charges for a third person to be added to cottage, despite being a very small room, he said yes we can fit in with a mattress on floor, by removing the extra furniture from room, highly unprofessional and the tone was condescending. Please be careful with adding a third person in room.

Executive room is big but cottage is very small. There were problems with Air conditioning unit which took 2 hours to fix and then the fridge which was replaced after 1.5 hours as the maintenance staff kept saying it will start cooling in a few hours. So wasted 2 hours in just getting things fixed. Upon check out, when we mentioned this to the receptionist, she did not apologise. No rooms were moved either, so as soon as you check in, please check the facilities.

The best part of the stay was cafe, the staff was amazing, especially Mr. SATVEER YADAV and Shivam who served us, I will give 5 stars for that. Very polite and friendly staff. Food quality, great, no complaints.

We just returned from a lovely 2-night stay at Graces Resort with our family, and it was a truly relaxing experience. The property is the star of the show – it is immaculately clean, beautifully landscaped, and wonderfully maintained. It provides a peaceful and serene atmosphere that is perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle. What stood out for us was the staff. Every single member we interacted with was incredibly well-behaved, polite, and professional. Their hospitality made our stay feel very comfortable and welcoming. It's clear they take great pride in their work and in ensuring guests have a pleasant time. This resort is an excellent choice if your goal is to spend quality time with your family. We were able to disconnect and just enjoy each other's company in a beautiful setting. The only point of consideration for future travelers would be the pricing for food and activities. While the food was good, we found it to be quite costly. Similarly, the on-site activities came with a high price tag. It's something to be mindful of and budget for when planning your trip. Overall, a fantastic stay. We would highly recommend Graces Resort for a peaceful family getaway, just be prepared for the premium pricing on extras.
