One of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. They are situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city but have easy and convenient transportation. Their premises are beautiful, clean, airy and tranquil. They play very calming music and the calming sound of water from their fountain permeates the air through the common areas and create a very relaxing environment. They are located at the foothills of a mountain. If you take a room with their back view, you can just see the mountain from the comfort of your room. Their rooms are very clean, very well furnished and maintained. ||They have two restaurants onsite with Indian and continental cuisines served. I liked their variety of foods and found going to their buffets better than ordering outside of their buffet times. The restaurants and food are pricey and frankly their preparation of the Healthy Greens salad was not suited to my taste. Either the chefs have to improve or their prices should go down. That would be the only downside. But, I am someone who is not that particular about food, so I didn’t mind it that much. ||Their check in time is 2 pm and check out time is 11 am. I arrived there around 10 am without a reservation because I couldn’t find someone who would pick up the phone and talk to me to make a reservation prior to arriving. So, I had to wait until atleast 1 pm. But they had a showering station and other facilities in their common areas so I was able to unwind even before the room was allotted. Their room prices online tend to be slightly cheaper than if you book in person, so make sure you check their website for any offers or discounts if you would like to get a room at the best price. ||Considering my entire stay, I would say the overall experience and ambience of their hotel was excellent. They may have a few areas to improve upon, but even those they are better than most others. I will definitely visit them in future and highly recommend you do too! Just ensure you make a reservation and arrive closer to 2 pm or be prepared to wait. And plan your stay so that you have their buffets / thalis for the best possible...
Read moreThis was an extremely disappointing and pathetic stay at this resort. For the amount of money charged, this hotel comes no where close to their so called ‘standard’ that they claim they uphold. For someone who has children and comes regularly to Tirupathi, this hotel has not fulfilled my needs for a pleasant if not decent experience. Everyone is aware of the fact that getting darshan can take up to many hours and our darshan was no exception. Having checked in the afternoon before leaving to Tirumala, we had already requested the staff for an extra bed in each of the two rooms that we had booked. Upon finishing our darshan and reaching the room at 12 am in the night, the beds were not installed. The staff don’t understand that good service is not just putting on a fake smile and folding their hands whenever they see us. Good service is primarily catering to every need of the customer which was not accomplished during our stay. Ranging from room cleanliness to something as simple as hot water to shower, showcases the terrible management. In the morning after our night stay no on from my family was able to shower because there was no hot water and the soap dispensers were not functioning. My children were already down with a cold and them having to shower in cold water made their situation even worse. The staff offered a bucket of hot water for us to shower in but we did not book a premium hotel just to shower using a bucket. The breakfast was again very disappointing due to the lack of freshness in most of the food options. To apologise for the inconvenience cause, a cake and fruits were served to our room which again lacked freshness. Overall this hotel has stooped below standards, not catering to the needs of any customer which ultimately makes ones...
Read moreMarasa Sarovar Tirupati is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Tirupati. The manager, Manu Prasad is simply amazing. He is so attentive to your needs. He ensured that we had the best experience. He will keep checking with you throughout your stay to make sure your stay is comfortable. He even gave my kid a surprise gift albeit a small one when we checked out. It made my kid smile and that was worth millions. The hotel rooms are clean and the room service is super fast. You make one phone call and they will be at your doorstep within minutes if not seconds. The breakfast is mind blowing. You get south indian choices as well as english breakfast choices as well. The manager/executive chef (Lakshmi Narayan) is amazing! He will ensure your taste buds are absolutely satisfied. He will keep following up with you while you come to the table and ask if eveything is satisfactory. If you even as much sigh a little bit, he will immediately make sure your concerns are alleviated and he will get you the right food or rectify the food that you felt was not so tasty. Kids will love the buffet choices at Marasa Sarovar very much. The tea was not satisfactory and that is the only downside I felt during my stay. I prefer strong masala chai and MarasaSarovar could not provide me strong tea but the food was excellent otherwise. The front desk, Tapaswini is so thorough and detailed oriented. The front desk Manager, Manohar is so attentive to your needs when you check in and check out. The host of the 24 hour restaurant, Mansi is so amazing. She made sure my kid had ice cream and that in itself was so heart warming. this is not some paid fake review. I am a genuine guest who stayed here during...
