Overall budget and good stay down to Horsley hills. We have booked the 2bhk which has kitchen facilities and it was a good stay.
Pros: -Room was clean and maintained. Property itself is clean and maintained with a beautiful garden and sitting arrangement, bonfire arrangement and barbeque if required and on additional charges -Kitchen has got almost all the utensils if you need to cook. -Hot water was available, Living room got a good sofa, wifi was available, bed was queen size but comfortable, lift available, terrace access was there. -Parking space was available. -Breakfast provided like dosa and coffee was good in Taste.
Cons: -Food items provided will be limited. In the sense that if someone wants pure vegetarian food or curries like a hotel, then the caretaker/supervisor might arrange it but its difficult in that area. -If you want to use the kitchen then the charges are 500/day which is a lil bit on the higher side if only baby food is prepared, but if a group of people want to cook and eat then it is okay. -I guess the same charges applied for use of AC also. Though we weren't required to use AC in the month of December.
We liked the stay overall. Most importantly it's like a vacation near the foot of Horsley hills with a calm environment, have a sit out, superb for non-vegetarians as they can have some barbecue outside and enjoy.
Prices are reasonable, we also got some discounts on kitchen usage. Supervisor behaviour is good towards...
Read moreI stayed at Varun Vihar around March end. It was very pleasant stay with clean rooms and nice views and good scenery. It's conveniently located at the base of Horseley Hills and it took only 20 minutes to go from hotel to Horseley Hills top.
The rooms were spacious and clean and very budget friendly. They had Wi-Fi and TV in the room along with a wardrobe. Geyser was also present. Rooms also had a very good view of the scenery.
We had taken dinner and breakfast at the hotel itself since there are not much shops or restaurants in the nearby vicinity. Food was good and home-made. They even prepare non-veg if informed prior.
The care-taker was able to speak English well and they took payment through UPI. There was plenty of car parking space. Hotel had CCTV cameras as well.
I found the hotel through Google Maps and booked by calling the contact number and I had gone as a family. It was perfectly safe and calm. We even went for a short walk around the hotel.
I will definitely recommend this hotel for any family or bachelor trip as it's value for money deal. There is no swimming pool in this hotel as shown in some of...
Read moreRight from the moment we entered and till the time we checked out, the experience was surreal. From welcoming and cheerful staffs to the location of the resort, from the amenities available to arrangements made, everything was up to the mark. They provided late check-out without any extra charge. Food was homely and delicious. Most important part is that the staff of the place are extremely humble, jovial, soft spoken, kind and most helpful.
There are a lot many reviews about the rooms , food and facilities. So I would like to give some reviews about the Manager Mr SRINIVAS REDDY garu and Team.
Very Hardworking, polite and decent. Have complete control of his team and manage things in no time.
You order anything and you will get it in the next 5 - 15 mins. They take care of the minutest details like serving instruments for each type of cuisine.
Hope to revisit Varun Vihar sometime in the future, possibly for a longer...
