We went from Guwahati and after driving for so long, what we wanted was a good night's sleep. The cottages are not noise proof and they have "campfire" arranged right outside the cottages. The campfire went on till 1:30 in the night with people shouting. Another set of campfire began at 5 in the morning. We could hear everyone talking and laughing loud and clear. So, we hardly got any sleep. They had a function arranged the second night too with mic and speakers. It was a repeat of previous night. So, if what you need is a good night's sleep, avoid this. The beds are queen size and not king size. And breakfast menu is just puri, and sabji, poha and eggs and thats it ( got the same menu for 2 days). its not really worth the high price they charge. Also the road to this place is really difficult to reach if you're driving. Giving 2 stars because we booked the place with high expectations (seeing close to 5* rating) and it disappointed us a lot. May be our timing wasnt right due to huge crowd, but we still expect them to ensure peaceful sleep (at least 7 hours) for all. few positives - the guy serving us was really friendly and helpful. The dinner was good - rotis and chicken curry etc.
