BBL RESORT — Hotel in Assam

I first visited the BBL resort in the year 2020, at that time the food was delicious, rooms were spacious, ample parking area under a iron shade, and overall ambience was just mind pleasing. But today (21.01.24), when I entered the resort it look rundown. The parking shade was converted into a nursery, thus finding it difficult to park the car. And the WORST part is the food, we ordered Plain Rice, Chicken Butter Masala & Dal Fry, Rice was half cooked, Chicken was stale (smelling odd), dal fry was full of water. When complained to a staff over there he told me that he offered us basmati rice, but that was certainly not. However, at the end he accepted that, they have goofed up with food, but owner didn't turn around to address the issue. So, suggest u all not to have a BAD DAY, by going there. There are many good hotels like, Bon-dhaba, Tesco, Me & Mom's, John kitchen, and others near that area. Either owner has no clue what is prepared in the kitchen, or they does it intentionally. Happy to find such a pleasant place near Bokakhat. Campus of the resort is filled with variety of beautiful flowers (as they also run a nursury there). Staff behaviour are very polite. Room condition was good. Frequent power cut occurred which was backuped quickly with generator within minutes. Hot water in bathroom received without any hindrance. Room service provided nicely. Food was awesome. Sufficient parking space available. Plus point is the pleasant and secure environment, just beside National Highway. This hotel offers satisfactory service. Hotel staff is good but it is about 50 Km away from the bokakhat town. You will find any shop and restaurants near this hotel all you have to depend on this hotel only. Vegiteriun food quality was not good. And it is costly too comparing other restaurants with similar quality food. You have to book a taxi everytime, you want to visit any place or bokakhat town.
