We had been to Falcon Jungle Resort recently to hold an educational excursion for a group of students of higher secondary classes.The experience we had in the resort surpassed our expectation.
The resort is located about three kilometres from the Bansbari forest entry gate, which was a blessing in disguise because it offered us a scope for passing through a long stretch of dense vegetation of Manas National Park often with the sightings of wildlife.
As for the location of the resort,it was bang opposite to the fence of the forest...so close that we even saw one -horned rhino and gaurs(Indian Bison) standing only outside the gate.With the fall of evening, the place becomes mystical with the out-of-the- world darkness of the national park added with the mesmerizing view of the dark sky studded with uncountable twinkling stars.
The outdoor and indoor ambience of the resort bears the artistic signature of the owner who has decorated the cottages very tastefully providing almost every modern amenity at the same time.The greenery of the plantation all over the resort sends an aesthetic invitation to the senses.
No complaint can be made about the amenities and service.All the staff was ever ready to help in anything we needed.The food they offered was non-spicy yet very tasty.All our students really enjoyed everything in the resort.
