Visited this property with 2 other families. This property was booked based on my recommendation in spite of its being 10 Km away from the main city. I recommended this property as I have stayed their earlier in july of 2016, that time, I had very pleasant experience.||||Immediately upon arrival, got to know that the manager of this hotel has been recently changed. ||Next they said, we don't have cook, hence can not provide lunch and dinner. ||Earlier I had good experience with yummy dinner.||||For getting drinking water in the room, it took lot of time, after so many reminders.||||Light in one of the bathroom is not working, they could not fix it saying they do not have electrician, upon our effort, it was rectified ourselves.||||Next day breakfast was planned at 0730. However, at early morning hour, it was noticed that there were no Hot water (Geysers were not functioning, may be due to power failure), lift, telephone nothing were working. Even generators were not working. After intimation to the manager, got very rude response. somehow managed to get ready by 0830 and when asked manager for breakfast, got answer that "sir aap to 7:30 ko aanewale the, hamane sab tayari karke rakhi thi, ab time lagega."||Last time it was buffet breakfast ; but this time mere tasteless poori bhazi.||||Earlier all 03 floors were equipped with wifi ; but this time no wifi was available.||The facilities were not available but charges for 01 extra person were taken immediately in Check-in time. ||Overall very bad experience. Giving only one star, as I can not...
Read moreI was rather surprised by the cleanliness and peace of this budget hotel that made me oblivious to the fact that the AC wan't working and that there wasn't any hot water owing to a dysfunctional water heater. The hotel looks new (was told that its one year old)and is located in the middle of a dusty highway stretch at Beltola Guwahati on the way to the airport. The menu is not too impressive but the staff were courteus and kind. Breakfast was not as complimentary as thought as we still had to pay for the omelettes and the buffet system did not work at all. This will make you feel short changed but I guess other things here make up for it depending on one's priorities, which to me is cleanliness. ||You will have to navigate your way through dusty easements with coal laden trucks on the sides to get to the hotel premises and would be welcomed at the parking bay by a sweet tail wagging labrador that looks like your grandpa. ||For the one grand a night for an AC double room after the 50% off MMT voucher, the rooms and the hotel premises will shock and awe you as i was by the cleanliness of the rooms that were contemporary in design and very spic. The linen was so clean that I did not see the need to open my rucksack and pitch tent on top of the bed with a sleeping bag(to keep away mosquitoes) like i use to with some budget hotels in Guwahati to hide myself from the squalor of travelling cheap.||A very nice hotel. Recommended to all no frills travellers. One star off for a non working AC, boiler and chargeable omelette with the supposedly...
Read moreStayed here again. A little disappointing because the staff did not listen to my request of leaving the hotel at 4AM for a marathon in GUwahati even after talking to them about it at 5PM the previous night. They had to take some time just to open the gate when they could have reminded the gatekeeper much earlier. Worse was that they had to call and check if I wanted dinner at 10PM when I am already asleep disrupting my sleep in the process also after informing the front desk at 6PM (after a heavy lunner in their adjoining resto) that I am going to sleep. Bad bad. Not attentive at all. NIce complimenmtary breakfast though. Brown spot stains on linen and soiled looking sweat smelling pillows. eeew. Two stars off for just that. I pitched tent to sleep here. Was promised a quiet room despite my apprehensions about trucks outside my window and the trucks parked...
